You don't have to be a Scientologist to have parents or others that are trying to control your life. Disconnection should be a last resort and used only until one can properly confront and handle the suppressive person or at least move up to "Good Roads and Good Weather". You can do something about it.

oh yeah... scientologists can get very aggressive the moment they want you to disconnect from your family. they will try to make you leave the country "for further studies". they will hurry you so you wont have the time to rethink things objectively. these guys even followed me to my house when they felt they were losing me. they labelled my mom as suppressive person IN FRONT OF MY MOTHER in the stairway of my building. the DRAMA was HUGE!!!! i was out pretty much after that! LUCKY ME!!!

Dear MonaandNate~I hear you! I was 22 when I signed mine, and had my Mom not stayed on it, I very well may have died in there, as they insisted I get off of my much needed medication for Epilepsy. Her staying on it, just as you are, was a big part in my waking up. Granted, it took 30 more years for me (Duh!) but there was NO NET then, NO access to the facts, and things were *much* better in many ways, or so we thought. At least now, many of the top people are leaving. They'll be home soon. :) T

Hey I'm from Nashville so here's a note on the 6million dollar lawsuit here - I was there when it started, and so its like this - plaintiff complains of being attacked and arrested for no reason 450 yards from the actual church. Reality: He was across the street from the church, "rushed" at a female and male officer after being told to take mask off, and was handcuffed and restrained, not arrested. 6 million for something he himself instigated? Thats what the chief of police sees it that way too

And as far as the shaky video where you can hear the girl with camera shouting "hey leave him alone" "don't hit him", etc . . . I was there and it was all for show. The camera was turned away while she yelled to make it appear her friend was being attacked. The security were police officers, not off duty mall guards. That young guy thought Scientology would be a great target so he could have a free life, and it simply won't happen. And thats the news about Nashville Scientology CC.
