You don't need a certain number of checkpoints, you just need to trigger one certain checkpoint. IIRC it's the checkpoint you get AFTER the checkpoint from Johnson's Pelican leaving. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That "one bullet in the sniper" thing is bullshit, too.

The only thing about the IWHBYD skull is you only have a 1 and 7 chance of seeing it.

Wow. This level was a bitch too go through o.o. This...was so fucking helpful. But, if there was one thing this taught me, it was the true usefullness of the Magnum. I really need to play this again, I've honestly only played on Easy, so I went through the entire thing with Dual-SMG and Dual Magnum. P.S. I've tried legendary once, about...ohgod,a year ago. Lost my ass because I didn't know any strategies. goodjob.o.o

How did you get your crouch? I've been trying to do this jump for a while and still can't get it.

@cloudofblades I used a universal auto-crouch... which is done by crouching twice on your way down from a jump. There are easier things and ways of bouncing if you search for them. I wouldn't recommend learning from a campaign walkthrough.

Ya it's the IWYBYD skull for Halo 2 - you do have to beat 7 waves of ultra elites w/ only starting out with a plasma pistol. =S It's a bitch.
