Trust Lard Oilrig to kill the groove. Yes I play the drums, yes I'm groovier him. No I don't care what you think about that statement. The man's a charlatan. I'll never understand how he gets feted as one of the top drummers, he's ....
If you want to see and hear the original rock guitarist that played the distortion licks on this song 1956.(covered by this group and others).Search-Paul Burlison..Go down to-Rock and Roll Trio-Part Three..second song..then go to the original cut in 1956..Johnny Burnette..Train Kept Rollin
Is the white haired guy with the white Les Paul in the left rear Jimmy Page? Sure looks like him... Another great version of this great song -there's almost as many versions of this song as there are of Summertime Blues.
Names of everyone who played in this particular performance please. I can name almost all of them, except for the guy in the back with the bass.... by the way he's headbanging, I'd say it was Flea.
@tomxtomato :) We asked for What It Takes and they played it! "what it takes? fuckin A! coming into!" it was EPIC! one of the best renditions ever. Even Pink & Jaded (that i don't like) sounded great
@2meanings but look at everyone else up there, greatest musicians of all time, and then trujillo, yes he played with ozzy, but not when he released his most famous stuff, ok he's with metallica now, why? probably because everyone else was horrible, if they wanted a funk bassist they might as well have picked claypool back in '86, he just doesn't fit the void that was left at all
@n0possibility are you fucking high? One of Rob's idols was Cliff! Sure he played funk back in the day with Suicidal, but he completely fits with Metallica. Dude is fuckin amazing and pretty much the best fit for them aside from Cliff coming back as a zombie!
@Akira1422 that's my point! he's a fuckin funk player, not a metal head, i saw them back in october and then you hear the bass only my mind "oh sweet bass olo time" all he did was fuckin hit the E string and mess around dropping it and tuning it back, it sounded like shit and made me want to get up there, kick him in the teeth, take the bass, play an awesome solo, and finish the show. definitely the most disappointing things i've ever seen.get Newsted back up there and let him be amazing at bass
@bradthewrestler No! It's a Tiny Bradshaw song first(14 yeasr before the Yardbirds) then a Johnny Burnette and the Rock and Roll Trio song(9 years before the Yardbirds) THEN a Yardbirds song!
dont forget that there are three bass gods gracing the stage with that guitar orgy, Trujillo Newstead and Flea, damnit!!! why wasn't there a bass solo/duel/jam?!?!?
@theShowStopper321 I remember years ago my guitar teacher taught me an "easier" way to pinch, which was just taught to understand the technique. It's where you pluck the string with your thumb, but your index on your picking hand hovers over the string and does a natural harmonic thing. Somehow, this works as a pinch as well.
the decision to play e flat since load wasn't because of james' voice but because they wanted to try it...since then they play their whole set e flat...and the encore of their sets is nowadays in d

I think Megadeth should get inducted in the HOF. I want them to make an all star performance with this lineup.
Dave Mustaine- vocals,rhythm guitar
Chris Poland- lead guitar,1
Jeff Young- lead guitar ,2
Marty Friedman- lead guitar,3
David Ellefson-bass
Chuck Behler-drums
Nick Menza- drums 2
