  • fighting talk told me!

  • this clip was on fighting talk yesterday

  • FIGHTING TALK BABY!

  • Fighting Talk sent me here! Lysaght surely must be awarded extra points next time he's on!

  • FIGHTING TALK

  • He sent me here too FIGHTING TALK

  • 5 live brought me here... = ]

  • Cornelius Lysaght sent me here.

  • obviously 4 people dont have a clue what a spectacular race that was!

  • This was a real race! Just edited to show the most exciting camera angles.

  • Is this fake?

  • @redryano18 NO! haha!

  • @redryano18 its a fine example of APs perseverenve and resilience.

  • @redryano18 No, it's quite real. Obviously edited a bit to show each fall from different angles, but it was a real race.

  • Tony McCoy and Frakie Dettori are the people that inspired me to race in the first place and watching their races over again has made me even better!

  • @ePICtWEETS yeah but your an ugly little jockey

  • haha a good school haha

  • This is why AP is BBC Sports Personality of the year, or, at least, should be.

  • @KautoMassiniman I would say that while AP is clearly a fantastic sportsman, I wouldn't call him a 'personality'. But it seems that 293152 people think he is!

  • @scrishton ahaha, I do agree. He's a bit focused to have much of a personality, which is a shame, but i guess he wouldn't be this good, I suppose loss of personality is a small price to pay.

  • Lol they're all falling

  • Comment removed

  • I had a 'large bet' even though it was only 8/11 on this horse and I almost threw my ticket away. But I couldnt stop laughing when one by one they fell, refused or pulled up and Family Business sauntered home alone. Has to be my luckiest bet / winnings ever.

  • only in racing, how comical!!!!!

  • Lol this is gold!

  • this is probably the most unlucky race I have ever seen XD

  • this is why hes a legend to racing fans,,, hes a demi god,,, if he dosent win sports personality of the year its a complete joke,,, everyday he puts it on the line..and ok sometimes hes loses..but at least you know he gives every horse every owner his very best,, tony your a true sporting legend

  • I very much remember this you guys as i came down at the 2nd on the grey mare called Star Control, they caught the horse but not me as i was already back in the weighing room. ( Good old McCoy) Richard Hobson.

  • @Richardhobson78 good to see you seeing the funny side to this race, even tho you fell.

  • Amazing jock, would only put him up on a big raceday tho. All the horses that he rides in our yard come back broken hearted

  • @2cool2btrue123 why?

  • Mc Coy is unseated, just like the rest of them. How can he possibly be allowed to remount and reenter the race ? Is n't that against the rules of racing ?

  • @kajamix Jockey's used to be allowed to remount their horses if they fell or unseated, but they're not allowed to anymore in case the horse is injured etc :)

  • Only since November 2009 after complaints to the BHB about the welfare of the horses.

  • yes it a new rule and u can still remount in ireland

  • My record is when three trolley buses broke down in succession, in one single journey across town. "Please change bus" three times.

  • @kajamix No, remounting is totally allowed. Its very rare, say, 1 in million, but in the 2001 GN 3 horses remounted, Blowing Wind, who finished 3rd, Papillon, who was 4th, and Lance Armstrong (it doesnt mention him in the commentart cos he's so far behind) who fell again. Watch it, great race

  • i love how this commentator just begins to laugh as he talks - that's just one unlucky race! i reckon these horses all planned this - the first 5 all fell/ unseated in a similar way, then the number 6 horse refused attempted to refuse twice, then Red Radish followed suit, then the final horse chucks his jockey off! the fact that none of them got injured is amazing! im sure they all thought this through... talking in the parade rings ought to be avoided methinks! haha XD well done McCoy xxx

  • That shows the magic of McCoy. The sheer will to win.

  • thast y he is the best jokcey of all time,i only could dream i be as good as ap 1 day

  • RIP Ferbie (Family Business) died of a heart attack in his stable on 20th Dec 09

  • I am really sorry to hear that. My condolences to all his friends.

  • xD

    This is brilliant

  • McCoy, powiedział: "To nie tylko najbardziej niezwykły wyścig , jaki kiedykolwiek wygrałem, to prawdopodobnie jedna z najbardziej niezwykłych gonitw w historii wyścigów.

  • same old mccoy u can never write him off thats y i back him every time he runs, what a man mccoy is,LEGEND

  • I've known a few people that would have torn their betting slip up when the favourite unseated. A really amazing race.

  • some women had 5k on McCoy and stomed out of the bookies when he fell and nver returned lol

  • i hope he wins a grand national ,.

  • Bloodstock for french horses now, i bought the likes of Hurricane Fly, Iris De Balme, Pomme Tiepy, Golden Silver that you might know.

  • yes..i remember them...Pomme Tiepy won his 4 or 5 chases didnt he as a novice?.

  • @dailystar1 Just lettign you know, Pomme Tiepy is a she

  • owch lol. i always thought u were worth a nice ew bet.

  • i got the forcast this day cos only one finished

  • there only 1 a.p

    legend

  • Still a legend with out doubt....but thought he got it wrong today with Binocular. Should have at the very least beaten Celestial Halo whom he had thrashed twice albiet under different conditions...Should have pressed the GO button well before the last. Still the man who never made a mistake never made anything. Aintree next stop where he will win with the legend on top.

  • What a CHAMPION he dont give up hes a legend!! tnx 4 dis video x

  • Tony McCoy= Absolute Legend.

Good luck today to all connections of Binocular.

  • what a crap clip on that horse :S

  • cant understand why people slag mccoy off. the guy is a magnificent jockey with a will to win that is second to none.

  • @azertyuiop32 the mans will to win and absolute inability to accept defeat is trully inspirational of all the great rides i have seen his ride on wichita lineman at the festival a few years ago was incredible even the commentater was astonished he forced it home racing fans will only realise how great a jockey he is when he goes which is a great shame.thankfully he at least won sports personality of the year

  • Family business came to us from pipes yard with a broken pelvis and broken confidence. we got him right and he proved to be a fantastic jumper = won point to points for us as well as the 31/2 mile hunterchase at chepstow with an 'exhibition round of front running and jumping.' He is now retired and bossing around his younger half brother who we hope will be as good as him.

  • Sorry southill this was Family Business wasnt it?

  • Comment removed

  • Was this at sedgefield? You can rewatch and download the race at either attheraces or racing uk minus the music obviously

  • Unfortunately the race was too long ago to download from ATR, & yes, Family Business was AP's mount in this race.

  • It was at Southwell not sedgefield. It wont work on ATR- i tried & failed!

  • The Feast of St Raymond Novices Chase! St Raymond must be the patron saint of bad jumpers. Thanks for posting that race, been wanting to see it for years. Any chance you could upload the full race minus the music? The Racing Post summarised the race as ' A farce of a race which defies analysis' Not surprisingly Eaux Les Coers was switched to hurdles for her next race which she promptly won, though sadly died later that year. Well done A.P. on a truly remarkable achievement. 3000 not out!

  • An absolute priviledge to see him ride - brilliant that he made it to 3000 and the shocking weather even made it more dramatic.

  • He made it to 3000 :) 35 mins later than he should of done but everyone makes mistakes. Amazing Man & a credit to the sport!!!

  • fancy that tony....finishes on horse number 1 ...legend!

  • he's done it

    legend

    cheers for posting this race

  • amazing go mccoy
