@TkMToM1993 Hi there, yes sometimes it does. Generally the more complex the scenery the more resources it takes from your computer; this usually slows the computer down.
I just got and flew this aicraft. ITS A WONDER TO FLY! :D fell in love with it. i started doing aerobatics immediatly. Nice flying mate! ;) try doing some some low level flying ;)
@CR4ZYHOR5E Great video. Can you give me an idea of the processing power of your computer? I'd like to determine whether or not my system is going to be powerful enough to run FSX without a lot of frustration. Thanks in advance.
@Leftfield755 Hi there; my computer is pretty old now so it would be better to have a look at some of the videos with more up-to-date equipment. If you do a search for FSX i7 you should get some good results.
I get pretty good frame rates, probably average around 35, dropping to the low 20s when at very complex addon airports. There are some addons that I can't run very well such as the Flight1 Cessna Mustang - the VC is very complex and my poor computer struggles with it.
Sure, my computer is a Q6600 (2.4Ghz), 4GB RAM (although I think only 3GB is used) with an 8800GTX video card running on XP. I think that the new i7 machines will be much faster but mine is okay for what I need.
You're right that a crosswind landing requires this sort of technique, but in this case the wind was calm - I needed to execute a forward slip to land (given the steep angle required coming out of the last manoeuvre).
great flight buy you need to turn off the engine after a full stop in the parking and after you are putting a parking break
