Probably the ones you said were the cleanest ones you seen. They probably had a little TLC at Washington Terminal before running train 19 to where its destination is. After that number of train turns to 91
nice video. i loved the part about the clean engines. i was thinking "man those engines are shiny whats up with that?!" and you agreed before i could say it lol
Sweet shot at the Manatee River with the EX Reading GP39-2's. CSX is lucky to have those locos they are great, they have all 20 built 4 the reading company in 1974.
Awesome one, Danny. Props for being able to recall all this info you used for the narration, as well as keeping all that footage around. This made for an incredible comp.
my pt job is right next to the a-line in maitland, and there's a crossing behind the building. charley broke off of the crossing bars and i was this close to taking it. ultimately i didn't like the idea of stealing it.
Looking good as always, any plans to do another Circus train type video (just more up-to-date)? Just curious, thats what got me looking at your stuff!
Excellent as always Danny! Thanks for sharing this special treat with us and it take me back to when I was about 7 or 8. Thanks for sharing this special treat, please keep them coming.
I am sure it was a mistake but the Amtrak Engineer's name is Matt Rider. Thanks for giving me something to use when I see him next time.
Nice work I really enjoy watching your videos its cool to see you railfanning all over Florida I live in sanford fl and not a hole lot of trains here.
Great video! Since the Gevo flood and RD mother and mates took over, the leasers and foreign power(outside of the BV at least) has almost vanished. It's bad,you must take a bus to Dade City, wildwood,& Ocala,Fl now instead of a train too.
Awesome video, Danny! Those leasers are what made CSX really awesome back then, leaving one not certain what power a train would have. The Central Florida area is always my favorite; with all that backcountry and wide open terrain.
Great video sir...I love all the foreign and leased power there towards the end...very well maintained dash 7 there...good to see it going down the tracks still
Loved the variety of this video. I miss those freewheeling days as well. I've been into trains since I was a little boy, but we had a lot more railroads with far more interesting motive power back then (1970s). Now everything looks the same with nearly identical paint and the ubiquitous safety cab. Around here it's all UP with the occasional re-badged yard dog or maybe a BNSF or a Ferrormex set. My favorite locomotive would have to be the SD40-2 in SF yellow & blue.
Love the shot of the Dash-7 at the sweeping curve, wish I could get a shot like that, but we really don't have that sort of curve, at least in my stomping ground
Wow... Just wow. It's a shame I wasn't old enough to appreciate all of those trains and all of that power back then. I hope that someday we get back to that amount of traffic. Another excellent production, Danny. 5*****
My son and I love your videos. He is 2 years and very excited by trains. My father was a VP for the Long Island Railroad so I grew up around trains. You and I share a couple of things: I am a long time voice over guy and lived in FL from 1979 until 1994 when I moved to Prague in the Czech Republic. Later this week my son and I will visit the Czech Railway museum it a converted freight station and have a lot of old steam engines. More soon!
Wow!!! watching your clips is like being a kid and open up the presents during the Christmas!! This was incredible cilip as usual! Thank you very much for sharing them!!!! :)

Speaking of those B units, we have a "remote controlled" B23-7 that moves cars at Walbridge Yard in Walbridge, OH. Its pretty rare to see nowadays.
