  • Probably the ones you said were the cleanest ones you seen. They probably had a little TLC at Washington Terminal before running train 19 to where its destination is. After that number of train turns to 91

  • so i take it people takeing 89 went hungry and tired lmao

  • I envy you. I hardly get time to do this!

  • Nice EX Conrail at 6:47!

  • nice video. i loved the part about the clean engines. i was thinking "man those engines are shiny whats up with that?!" and you agreed before i could say it lol

  • At 0:25 CSX 481!!!!!!!!! I caught that unit out here last month

  • CSX K440 looks and reminds me of CSX F728.good video.

  • Sweet shot at the Manatee River with the EX Reading GP39-2's. CSX is lucky to have those locos they are great, they have all 20 built 4 the reading company in 1974.

  • csx must not maintain track much the track is pretty bad up by me too

  • Im just wondering....when was the last time you've seen anything in Phase III paint?

  • Nice job.

I just purchased your Jacksonville DVD from Whistlin' Dixie. Very good job on it, well worth the $20

  • Very awesome video indeed!

  • I always thought that Tampa never has any trains passing through back when I was there. Boy was i way wrong! i just needed to get out more then...

  • Speaking of those B units, we have a "remote controlled" B23-7 that moves cars at Walbridge Yard in Walbridge, OH. Its pretty rare to see nowadays.

  • Great video once again Danny. Thanks for all your hard work in making these videos.

  • Great video once again Danny. Thank you for all your hard work to make these videos.

  • WOW great video to bad you had to ruin it by showing Matt Reinert, Just kidding hes a good guy.

  • WHAT RAILROAD WAS THAT AT 9 32 NEVER SEEN A UNIT LIKE THAT B4

  • Very nice Danny!

  • wow! another fantastic video Danny.

  • That is one really clean SP unit at 9:00, Nice video, it is nice to see some of the older videos. 2 Thumps up!!

  • At 4:22, that's actually Matt Ryder, not Rinhert

  • Excellent as always!!!!

  • classic footage Danny Horman my man, this is Andy Bowe your video's keep me coming back for more, where can I get your awsome dvd's?

  • Great footage Danny

  • Awesome one, Danny. Props for being able to recall all this info you used for the narration, as well as keeping all that footage around. This made for an incredible comp.

  • Great Job!

  • How long is that stub into TUS? been curious, and I get the feeling you know the answer :)

    Awesome videos as always!

  • AWESOME CATCHES!!!! I Wish CSX Still Had Foreign And Leased Power On Every Other Train!! What Was That Leaser On The Last Train??

  • my pt job is right next to the a-line in maitland, and there's a crossing behind the building. charley broke off of the crossing bars and i was this close to taking it. ultimately i didn't like the idea of stealing it.

  • Looking good as always, any plans to do another Circus train type video (just more up-to-date)? Just curious, thats what got me looking at your stuff!

  • Great video, I have some Amtrak videos on my page be sure to check them out

  • Awesome job Dano! But what was that 2nd locomotive on the last train in Bushnell? I couldn't quite make out the name on the side.

  • @jjbroadglide The 2nd Locomotive On The Last Train Belongs To The Mexican Railroad.

  • as always nice job danny

  • Nice collection Danny!

    Alex

  • Let me just say, you do the best railfan narration on Youtube. Keep up the great work.

  • awesome catch on that Conrail C39-8! that's one consist that we'll never see again!

  • Excellent as always Danny! Thanks for sharing this special treat with us and it take me back to when I was about 7 or 8. Thanks for sharing this special treat, please keep them coming.

I am sure it was a mistake but the Amtrak Engineer's name is Matt Rider. Thanks for giving me something to use when I see him next time.

    Thumbs Up!

  • Nice work I really enjoy watching your videos its cool to see you railfanning all over Florida I live in sanford fl and not a hole lot of trains here.

  • Great video! Since the Gevo flood and RD mother and mates took over, the leasers and foreign power(outside of the BV at least) has almost vanished. It's bad,you must take a bus to Dade City, wildwood,& Ocala,Fl now instead of a train too.

  • As always Mr. Harmon, 5 Stars. Let's just hope it all comes back so strong we wont want to shoot the leasers or foreign power either....

  • That video of P089 was HARDCORE!

  • Awesome video, Danny! Those leasers are what made CSX really awesome back then, leaving one not certain what power a train would have. The Central Florida area is always my favorite; with all that backcountry and wide open terrain.

  • Danny how do you make these such pro videos whats the secret?

  • Great video sir...I love all the foreign and leased power there towards the end...very well maintained dash 7 there...good to see it going down the tracks still

  • Loved the variety of this video. I miss those freewheeling days as well. I've been into trains since I was a little boy, but we had a lot more railroads with far more interesting motive power back then (1970s). Now everything looks the same with nearly identical paint and the ubiquitous safety cab. Around here it's all UP with the occasional re-badged yard dog or maybe a BNSF or a Ferrormex set. My favorite locomotive would have to be the SD40-2 in SF yellow & blue.

  • Love the shot of the Dash-7 at the sweeping curve, wish I could get a shot like that, but we really don't have that sort of curve, at least in my stomping ground

  • Gosh, you must have a vault of old videos. Just how long have you been railfanning?

  • @murjax 25 years. 15 of them with a video camera

    DH

  • @distantsignal perfect shave and a haircut from that one amtrak train

  • @distantsignal danny do u have any seaboard stuff?

  • @pengapop12 Nope. Nothing that old.

  • @distantsignal man that sucks oh well the stuff u have is still awesome :)

  • @distantsignal Danny, do you know why that amtrak sm on the vitus had 2 lounges?

  • Wow... Just wow. It's a shame I wasn't old enough to appreciate all of those trains and all of that power back then. I hope that someday we get back to that amount of traffic. Another excellent production, Danny. 5*****

  • Your videos are so cool. I live in Tampa!

  • Great Job, Danny, always enjoy the video's. Hope we can get back to seeing a surge in rail traffic again.

  • Great video Danny! Very interesting footage especially with the Amtrak re-routes and all the different foreign/leaser power over the years.

  • Awesome stuff! I really enjoy the narration of the video! Thumbs up!

  • nevermind you tube messed up

  • this shows a 10 min video.. but it starts out at 8 min... how long should it be?

  • awesome video

  • Another winner Danny, great stuff as always!

  • great vid

  • My son and I love your videos. He is 2 years and very excited by trains. My father was a VP for the Long Island Railroad so I grew up around trains. You and I share a couple of things: I am a long time voice over guy and lived in FL from 1979 until 1994 when I moved to Prague in the Czech Republic. Later this week my son and I will visit the Czech Railway museum it a converted freight station and have a lot of old steam engines. More soon!

  • Wow!!! watching your clips is like being a kid and open up the presents during the Christmas!! This was incredible cilip as usual! Thank you very much for sharing them!!!! :)

  • @ollieahokas Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
