  • Hey i have a yz 125 2004 and I wanna just buy a fmf powercore 2 silencer would I have to change the jetting or should it be ok to leave

  • POWERBAND HAHAHA!

  • can you do this after you get a fmf exhaust?

  • How did you pull the choke out?

  • plugstooleanbro

  • did this with an xr80r and it helps allot there is so much more power

  • Guys to help all, If you do the airbox mod it will add more air flow which will make it run lean. So what you have to do is bump the main jet and pilot a little. For a completely top drilled open a airbox and stock pipe the jetting should be starting at 17.5 pilot and 110-112 main jet. You can get them at your local deal for $2-$4 dollars and believe me there worth it. If you do the mod but don't bump jetting up you will destroy your motor.

  • @EvansAutoShop yes u can. u take off the cover.theres filter and you just replace it.

  • Do you have to jet the carb if you put a aftermarket pipe on it?

  • my ttr 125 has an oil filter and so does my raptor 250 and the bike is a 05 and my quad a 08

  • what is rejetting you carb anyway

  • Ok,i have a 04 drz 125 and i put on a pro circuit t4 full system on it.im going to also add a k@n air filter and oil filter.what should i jet it to?i know 107.5 main jet but wat should i do about the pilot?

  • @AllOutRiding

Go to the procircut website, theyre should be jetting specs, just adjust to your altitude above sea level

  • do u have to do that carb thing or can u just do the airbox. will it work on a ttr110

  • @BlankBrandon If all you do is cut open your air intake, your mix will run lean, and youl fuck your motor.

And similar on a TTR110, but with different jet sizes and the carb is smaller as far as i know.

  • Where do you get the bigger Jetting?

  • @dirtbiker4lfe Yamaha Dealer.

  • Is that works? More power or something?

  • when i take out the pilot jet and the main jet do i need to count how many turns it is? and then put the new ones in the same amount of turns?

  • @AntiSkate69

    for best results, yes

  • does the ttr have a PB 20 Keihn carbuerator like my klx 140,ur vid helped a shit ton with some inmformation i needed

  • efi!

  • if i get new jets and just take out the vent thing for the air box with a stock exhuast would i still be ok?

  • hey my choke wont come off the carb how do i get it off?

  • im having trouble getting the choke off the carb is there a clip or bolt to take off please reply thanks

  • Man, when I had to clean my carb, it was hell.

  • @bullahair Hell. Try a yamaha with YDIS ( dual carbs), These TTR carbs are easy and simple.

  • need help, will the ttr 125 jet kit fit on a klx 125 carb? i herd their the same carb.

  • can someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!! i have a drz 125L with the same carb, i keep seeing where i can drill out a brass plug to access the pilot screw...i cant find this and need a diagram!!!!

  • so all you have to do to jet it is take out the jetts and put them back in do you jet them before you put the pipe on

  • also i have a pro circuit t-4 exhaust systemon it with stock jetting. if that helps

  • hi, i have a question. my 2005 ttr125le doesnt like to start cold so i have to kick kick and kick, its tiering so what do i have to do. adjust the main fuel screw , please help. all i want is it to start 1st kick and have it idle and rev right on the spot. thanks for the help .

  • thats what happened to mine took like 17-20 kicks average to start lol damn four strokes =D. anyways check ur spark plug gap, if you have an aftermarket exhaust get bigger jets, make sure your valves are good cause thats the main problem

  • Where is the main fuel screw on this ?

  • You stumped me there

Air / Fuel mix on TTR125 is done by raising or lowering the needle The needle is the bit that dangles out the bottom of the slide (bit that the throttle cable is attached too)

I would raise the needle (clip=1 notch lower on the needle) if you have done the pipe, airbox & carb mods Check the spark plug color after a run at full tilt

    Must be brown/blackish NOT brown/white

If its brown/white raise the needle another notch (1 clip lower on needle)

    Better bit rich than lean

  • @JustEnduro you do realize moving the needle up and down has no effect on how the bike runs at full throttle. the main jet controls full throttle fuel metering, the needle is 1/4-3/4 throttle setting roughly.

  • You do realize that if you open the airbox and the pipe you need to increase the jet size, as stated in this vid!

Clip position affects from 1/8 to just over 1/2!

Needle taper affects from 1/4 to full.

Raising / lowering the needle will affect the throttle response from idle and decrease or increase bogging!

Havening opened the pipe and opening the airbox causes the TTR to bog off idle.

On a TTR you need to increase the fuel from ¼ to just over ½

NO OTHER WAY TO STOP THE BOGGING!

  • i just cleaned my friends TTR 125 air filter and after that it stoped runing and the probolem is the carb i think but im not sure what happend could it have been from cleaning the air filter? we are going to take the carb apart and look at it i think it should be the pin or somthing not rally sure.

  • did you run it with a wet airfilter? or if you sprayed to much oil it coulda clogd the jets

  • you dont have to rejet carb just for a new pipe though rite im gonna buy a ttr i hear the last forever

  • You do if the pipe is less restrictive

  • Everyone watching this video. If you don't want to use the mesh screen that is fine but you need to remove the mesh and reinstall behind the air filter element. Failure to do this will result in your filter not sealing properly and engine damage in dusty or muddy conditions. I would like to encourage the author of this video to update with the corrected action.

  • were do you buy the jets?

  • and what brand? i'm trying to rejet my carb too, lol. This vid helps, thanks!

  • ttr 125 l

  • ITS COOL BUT DIFICULL xDDDD

  • Comment removed

  • splice the wires? i was thinking about doing that but didnt know how stable itd be. i have a 2002 and i dont think itll work. and taking out the screen isnt a good idea. all that shit will go into ur cylinder.

  • did you have to get different jets

  • Jets and air screw for sea level

    107.5 main jet

    17.5 pilot

    Airscrew @ 2 turns

  • do u have a light on your bike if so where did u get the lighting stator for it ???

  • i just cut the top out of the air box today and it made a huge difference. i wish i would have done it before i got my 450!

  • im going to do that airbox thing,

  • orite mate can you send me the settings for the kx100's carb cos i need to set them right. and will you also add the choke jetting setting thanks mate.

  • You are a ½ witt, he clearly stated that it was not his...you have a problem reading or is that a bit hard?

  • lol i have nothing better to do lol

  • yeah it was a graet bike to learn on. Ok thanks for the songs.

  • Very good video, i had a ttr125 and i had alot of problems with the carb. Somehow water got in there and it caroaded all of the inside of the carb. But i sold that hunk of junk and bought a rmz250. Would you be able to tell me the name of the song please.

  • how do u keep your ttr 125 so clean???? mine is clean but not that clean. whats your secret??

  • Cool and helpful vid.
