it was a light weight high wind takeoff. All aircraft will have a steep climb out if the wind is strong enough right down the numbers

That's KSMO runway 21. Flight Options noise abatement takeoff. They actually have a special procedure for SMO.

Also, they're MTOW limited for departures out of SMO to facilitate the higher than usual rate of climb....

If you're light the Beechjet actually flies like a real airplane! Definitely a noise abatement takeoff.
