@EROS3667 Hi and thanks. it's very difficult to grow out a show coat on a maltese, which is why many people wrap their dogs coat to protect it. Maltese can have different types of coats too, some are easier than others. This one has a very thin and silky coat but others have very thick coats that are easier to grow as they can take a lot more. If you just want your maltese to have long hair and not show it , just let it grow but make sure to brush everyday with a good pin brush and wash weekly.
