  • You sing very well, très belle voix et superbe interprétation. IHS

  • My parish is Latin-Tridentine Rite (FSSP) in full communion with Rome.. The only one in this diocese. Thanks for uploading this and keep making videos.

  • Put some lyrics beneath it, that would be awesome!

Brazil

  • Beautiful!

  • Great job brother, latin is dying in malaysia, love to be your friend.

  • Very nice

  • You have a great voice! A beautiful song. I love gregorian chants! "Dies irae" is one of my favorites... ;-) Greetings from Germany!

  • god bless you for your work

  • slower then I'm used to

  • @iodizedseasalt Thank you so much. I am glad that there is at least one person, at least one, out there who knows the truth. God bless. Dominus tecum.

  • My God you're good.

    Great work.

  • Don't you people know that Vatican II was the work of an antiPope, Paul VI? The changes brought about by Vatican II so undermined solemnly defined dogmas and doctrines that the men who brought them about could not have been Roman Catholic; they had to have defected from the Roman Catholic Church. Therefore a state of Sede Vacante has existed since Paul VI defected from the Church. Vatican II was the work of Satan, designed to destroy the Church and deprive it's children of the truth.

  • @TheSedevacante I wouldn't(in my opinion) say its the work of Satan but you are absolutely correct.I grew up with Latin mass and true I didn't understand all of it until I took Latin in High School but by then we already had changed to English. You are correct in saying that "...it deprives it's children of the truth." When you begin to truly understand the structure of the ritual, you realize that the English translations destroy the entire Mass. It becomes meaningless.

  • beautiful yes, but when it was in Latin, no one understood a damn thing...I know, I was there; and now that it is in English, it is not the same kind of beauty, but it can at least be understood; all isn;t perfect, and just to trash the liturgy in English is simply ludicrous

  • @RPlavo You don't understand the cosmic harm to the universality of the Church caused by Mass in the vernacular. Change the words, change the meaning. Change the meaning, change the purpose. The English Mass is defective in form and intent.

  • Beautiful.

I wish my Church offered EO Mass. But oh well, EO and NO Mass still carries that mysterious feeling that I love. Maybe it's because I'm a recent convert.

  • ¡MAGNÍFICO!

  • This is awesome. Your voice carries really well. and my favorite stanza is "Recordare, Iesu pie, quid sum causa tuae viae. Ne me perdas illa die." Thank you for posting this.

  • Oh, how I remember singing this in the chant choir in the seminary...before my voice changed. Thank you so much for posting this beautiful rendition.

  • @nacho0freak

We also have a Mass in Latin in town where I study...I would like to attend it.

  • This is great. Thank you for this video!

  • ......Oro supplex et acclinis,

    cor contritum quasi cinis:

    gere curam mei finis....

    thank you

  • Think about that text... How do we prepare for the Last Judgement?

    Thanks for uploading :-)

  • Quaerens me sedisti lassus, redemisti crucem passus, tantus labor non sit cassus..." You sought me unceasingly and redeemed me from your cross, let not this labor be in vain."

"Kumbaya" and "gather us in" Really?

  • Sorry, but why "kumbaya"? I meant it seriously.

  • I was trying to point out how far our music has fallen in the last forty years. Compare something like the Dies irae to most of what you hear at a typical modern Mass. This is our Patrimony, we have been robbed of a rich treasure and unfortunately most Catholics don't realize it. It comes down to lex orandi, lex credendi. If we are signing defective songs we are praying defective rayers.

  • Nothing can compare to the latin songs and gregorian chant...

  • I agree, my parish only does a :Latin Mass once a month...other then that I just watch online.

  • I like your videos. It's nice to see that gregorian chant still has a place is the German Catholic Church. Your church is lucky to have you.

  • May God bless you.

Dies Irae is so beautiful and at the time so majestatic...But many people don't understand the meaning of the text... Excellent.

  • I hope you guys understand the text, it's not a very nice text.

It describes the day of wrath. (check wikipedia)

  • Thanks for the tip. All this time I thought it was about sunshine and lollipops.

  • hahahaha some people will never understand the meaning of traditional prayers...they are lost in a "protestant" catholic way of faith. Cheers to you for posting these wonderful prayers.

  • Can you sing adiemus?>
