@onblock7 Oh I'm not saying they're not great jets because they are & I love them but actually saying they're the greatest ever is pushing it a bit for me. Personally I'd choose the Harrier Jump Jet. That thing did things other jets couldn't even begin to think about but I understand the debate is very subjective.

@maracdbs During annual interservice "Red Flag" exercises at Nellis AFB Tomcat squadrons would go up against Eagles during the 1980's and 90's, but the DOD would never publish scores or results. My guess is that the Eagle got the best of the Tomcat.

@abe07w Both different, some saw more action but both were for different things! F-14 fleet defence! Long range interceptor, hence it's missles. Both are legends, period.
