I know it must be a "MIDI"/Keys" thing giving some sort of a String sound. Violin is 1 of the instruments USED in "Arabic" music besides the "Oud", "Doumbek", etc. instruments? This is my favorite Sting solo album. He reallyoutdid himself on this one. Each song tells a distinct story, all the stories are interrelated. and the end song "Brand New Day" brings us back to the beginning. "Concept" albums can be tricky but with Sting's brilliance, his expertise, his golden worlds, and his outrageous 7/8ths and 12/8s. Sting, you truly are the master and in my opinion this is the most incredible lp, You must be so proud of Coco, she's just like you!
