i love the W8, but i hear that they usually encounter "catastrophic failure" at around 80,000. something to do with the engine being designed to be mounted at an angle as part of the W16 engine similar to the one currently found in the Bugatti Veyron. just a rumor i've heard, not sure there is any truth to it. i hope that doesn't happen to yours man. Great looking car, and of course, sick sounding W8.

@umaxblaze agter having 2, weither have had "catastrophic failure" except i did have an odd issue with one of my purge valves, it broke and got stuck in... well i dont rembmer what it was called but it's the thing with charcoal in it. (it's early ok?) but that was the only big issue. other than that the worst part was that my passenger's side front window does not always roll up all the way with the 1 touch click.

its 0-60 in about 6.4 in the auto, I believe 6.0 in the manual.

I really love my W8, tough car to replace. The engine sounds really nice without the sound being overpowering. The power band is spread out very well too, not too much in the low or high end, it feels like you have the same everywhere in the rpms, no dead spots at all like American "cars" ... if they can call them that.
