How Police and Customs Officers deal with Blogger at Cairo Airport

traveling with my family i always had this problem because my parents were born in egypt and the government wana know where weve been all this time im sure. wen i travel alone though ive never been searched travelin on a foreign passport into cairo. all they care about is making money or beign noisy and entertaining themselves. anyone whosays nothing reli shows or get over it .. u kinda need to have a bit of experience with the egyptian government then compare it to other countries standards.

suprisingly enough since ive started to travel to egypt on my own it doesnt matter how many bags i have ive never once been searched traveling on a foriegn passport into cairo. its not just bloggers ya wael people who have immigrated to other countries are in the governments intrest as well.

by7sal keter w its part of the lovely system in egypt my grandfather is known in egypt and when i traveled with my whole family with egyptian papers we always had our bags checked 100% just to make sure we didnt have anything we shouldn't, any chance to make money by taking customs fee or being noisy they will take it they have a boring day.

I did not see everything you say but I would not be shocked to know people with power over your travel would go way to far and even outside of what they should be doing.

you did not see when i was held in the airport for 15 hours !!!

you did not see when they confiscated my laptop and my cds and my flash disks !!!

you did not see whan they came after me on the plane and unloaded my luggage !!!

nothing shows because it is only a few seconds !!!

it does not show when they took my camera away

and when they emptied my bag

but it shows clearly how they read my private papers

is that ok with customs officers to do that ???

read conference papers ???

It always happens, not only with bloggers but with everyone ... you gotta visit italy then.... this is security check, and nothing is wrong with it !!
