I personally disagree with the claim in the vid description. We are similar to the chimpanzee but i disagree that their is any evidence we are actually related to them. And we cirtainly have not gradually evolved from them. Infact many of the supposed pre human missing link transitional species they have dug up, turn out to be very ape like and never show a transition towards human bone structure.

You are right in that we did not gradually evolve from the chimps we see today. Both humans and chimps evolved from a common ancestor, taking different directions on the evolutionary map. Fossil records are very poor when it comes to missing links, but look at other evidence such similarities in DNA.
