Malcolm spoke of Africa to impart on African Americans that they were not isolated. There is power in numbers and if they could coalesce their minds to realize that there was some type of commonality between the African plight and the African American plight. If the African could fight and rebel against colonialism, then so could the African American. There has never been any revolution that has taken place throughout history without bloodshed.
