  • fucking great!!! i like this song much besides wield my sword and hangar 18 area 51

  • not too many people remember his one

  • next malmsteen bassist!

  • i played a lot of malmsteen music back in the day...always loved it.

  • not at all, im not here for competition, you got a long way to go for sure ya. with the amount of mistakes you made for people to say amazing fantastic and best on youtube stuff, usually means friends..lol

but the distortion thing--that would probably sound good for muse, but maiden?.....naw

  • t.y. YVH, just another small sample of malmsteen bass playing from back in the day....

  • you rock!! awesome playing... oh by the way check my videos... hehe i play upside down guitar...!!

hehe bye and keep it up dude!!

  • I sent you a PM.

we are a minority, and must always show the normal players out here, that there is still a few of us rebels around....

  • awsome job, your left hand finger rolls (or whatever you call it when your doing the 3 finger quick picking) is wicked fast, cool shit man.

  • most people will agree, the less you have to move your fingers/hands the more accurate you can be no matter how fast it is. they call it "economy of motion", ( playing 3 long sets would kill anyone if you were beating the guitar strings to death or using a deathgrip on the neck )

once I figured out NOT to beat on the strings, and use the amp totally, it was a BIG improvement on accuracy, and even faster speeds, no matter what guitar I'm using at that moment ( even my crappy EPIphone-Bird )

  • its crazy you say that, i just hit the point about a month ago where i started noticing a better tone when i was softer on the strings. great advice every bassist should follow.

  • cool!!!!

  • t.y. rainingblood I love a lot of malmsteen tunes on the bass as my many videos show, but only a few are really blazing speed lines to play, yes he wrote and played all the basslines, but most tunes were written for blazing guitar, not blazing basslines...

    thanks again for your post

  • Very cool!

How does this T-BIRD compare to your others?

  • hi JD, it's more like a real Gibson nikkisixx blackbird in playability and it feels about as heavy as the EPI, the pickups are noiseless and very clean. For it's rarity/VG condition it is a keeper for sure. I'll use it more once I put new strings on it later this week, cause these are 3 years old according to the seller, and OH YA, they are dead.
