facebook alleged me as a spammer. well, adding random persons doesn't make me one. if facebook doesn't want me to add random people it should stop suggesting me to add them. I clearly do not fit the definition of a spammer and so doesn't my act. my account was diabled yesterday but i never got any warnings at all, i have have no idea what to do cause i tried emailing them, i have ppl who i can only contact via facebook and i ran groups that helped ppl get info, i know one of my groups was called straight edge and it was for ppl to get to gether and meet other straight edge ppl and i had ppl joining the group telling use to smoke a join, get laid, get a life ect, i have no idea what to get my account back.

Suddenly facebook disabled my account because someone reported me. All my wall posts, discussions, photos, group photos, comments, pages, friends removed. Suddenly Im disappeared from the face of facebook like I never existed before. You know Report links is all over facebook youre just two mouse click away from someone reporting you 3 people reported any of your materials then youre off the facebook. So be wise back everything up, photos, all friends, comments, groups joined, pages, ever2thing.

To this day it is all but impossible to get any answers/communication from facebook when you have an issue such as it getting disabled without warning. Sometimes for having an over active account in their opinion??? I don't even understand what that is. Just realize if you do have a fb account there is no privacy--your information is OWNED!!! I got my account banned yesterday without any warning. I did get warned for adding too many friends, but I stopped/slowed down. I didn't send too many messages or joined too many groups.

The stalkers reported me for having a fake name even though it's my real name. I noticed that all of my posts were deleted, so I assume that I will never get my account back because Facebook is being extremely unfair to me right now. I'm completely innocent!

Oh my god, my account was disabled unfairly because of a group psychopaths/stalkers/bullies made a lot of fake reports about me. They got into a argument with me over a game and they took it to a personal level by publishing my personal information without my permission. They even sent me a lot of harassing messages or other stuff. They even convinced FB to ban me unfairly because of those fake reports.

I didn't misuse the site in anyway. I'm innocent. I hope I get my account back though.

i got my accunt disbld, n they repld within 19hrs saying they never put my accunt back, whn i joined 3yrs back i aded all my friends in 4hrs time like 250 got warnin on 1st day itself, i wasnt sure what tht was but after day later they disabled adding ppl for 3 days, now after 3 yrs just out of curiacity i used my gmail conatcts to find ppl found 100 ppl aded them all, got warnin again and after 30min got disbld., reason given i aded ppl too fast n they gav too many warnins i had only 550ppl :(

I completely agree. I had my account disabled two days ago with absolutely no warning. Two days in and no response, but I understand they probably have a lot to work through so I'm being patient.

A few days won't matter much, but for a prolonged period of time this could have a real effect on my work. I rely a lot on the groups that I have made for gig nights that I put on. The better they do, the longer I remain employed and can feed my family! Small fry to Facebook, but a big deal to me.

this is my point exactly. I understand Facebook is experiencing explosive growth & inherently there are growing pains with that. I also understand spam is a serious problem that needs safeguards.

the issue I have is a complete refusal on Facebook's behalf to even acknowledge the disabled account issue & how this is affecting people that have put their trust in their platform. What I am doing is documenting those stories so we can take MZ up on his offer of "democratic governance"

and i had to re add everyone which is a pain in the butt. Anyways 2 weeks later i got an email from appeals@facebook regarding my first account and they said that they cannot reinstate it. I already knew that since disabled @ facebook told me that. So i go to log in to my new account and they disabled that one too! i'm hoping to have it next week; I've got my video editor working on the pilot episode of my main business - a documentary/reality show that's been planned for over a year.

I'll be featuring my biz partner who now also has a FB acct issue; it's not disabled but "out for maintenance" for over a week now - same problem.

the other problem is apathy - I have emailed at least 7 authors that have written articles about this & countless users that have compelling cases - nobody wants to do anything

Between last Friday and Saturday, I got disabled. I'm not sure why. I haven't violated their terms (if I have it was completely unintentional), I am not abusive or harassing. Only thing I can think is that I opened a compromised email... (foolishly on my part- the next day it was disabled). I have emailed ALL possible adresses with only the automated response. I don't know what to do! I miss connecting with friends and playing the aps daily!

FB is very aware of the loophole whereas they can keep an account in disabled limbo and retain the information for when the user returns, of course they won't allow the victim to return or delete their account.
