i agree with the people who are disliking this game.

its a good game i suppose, but on the case it says role playing, and to be honest, its just perminent shooting, so thats false advertising.

i was gonna buy it, but decided to test my mates out first instead, after an hour of playing it was just like "ok, lets turn it off now"

im glad i didnt just grab it and buy it now, although i did get the condemned games instead........ which i regret as they are another 2 over-rated pieces of shit

No your wrong lee its not just "perminent shooting" It is role playing, you decide what your character looks like, sex, class, traits. Then you make chooses in the game what u want to do. u have different ways to tackle situations and u get a multitude of responses when talking to people. you can free roam or do missions. As for condemned, u have the attention span of a fly.

agreed, about the attention span of a fly part, as for the role playing on mass effect, i didnt see any in the hour i played on it, maybe i was playing through an hour of the game when you dont have a role to play but shooting, but i didnt see any.

and you gotta admit, condemned isnt THAT good.

the controlling is rubbish, and it goes from a quality creepy game in the first one (which i admit i was impressed at) to a sci-fi typical shoot em up, but with less guns, its just rediculous.

This is another fucking shooter. The role-playing genre is split up too much that they managed to squeeze this game into the genre. This isn't exactly what I had in mind when I was looking for "role-playing".

But it isn't a shooter.. It's an RPG from the Canadian developer Bioware. They made two Knights of the Old Republic games and a Jade Empire. All three games were amazing. I don't see how this game can flop. It's gunna be awesome.

It is, "that horrible." The games i mentioned got nowhere near the marketing machine behind their releases and therefore flopped. Most people had never played these gams simply for that reason. If you enjoyed Oblivion, You will absolutely love Fallout / Arcanum / Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. All of them much better than Oblivion.
