If you look at overeem when he fought chuck liddel you would be astonished at how little he was then. i know it was like 10 years ago but Its just impossible to gain so much mass from just lifting no matter how much frame he has. As far as steroid testing, u have to be an idiot to fail it. The half life of the steroid dictates its clearance from the body. Different setroids clear out at different times. You can use Testosterone Propionate or peals like Anavar n Winstrol for months and it will clear out relatively quick. It is the test to epitestosterone ratio anyways. Easy to beat.

Been a 'Reem fan for a long time. I like Brock Lesnar too so I don't know how to score this one. If it stays standing, 'Reem just has to move and stay away from Brock's straight and overhand right which shouldn't be a problem. @martinez418 Fighters gaining 15-20lbs in a 24 hour period is common. After dehydrating themselves and dieting for the weigh-in they will then go back eating normal and re-hydrating themselves before fight night. Most of the weight cut is water weight, so given Antonio Silva is huge he would probably have more water weight to work with making the cut easy for him. GSP for example has been able to put 23lbs back on before fight time. 170 to 193lbs.

@martinez418 No, no. Overeem doesn't cut any weight at all for the weigh-ins. He comes in at 250-255lbs for the weigh-in, and goes into the fight at the same weight. IF he did cut weight then he would weigh-in closer to the 265lbs limit. It would be detrimental to cut weight down any further for a heavyweight that fights over the 265lbs limit.
@martinez418 Overeem is around 250-255lbs, he is quite lean compared to Brock who is around 270lbs with a higher bodyfat %. The scales are not altered in anyway, the Athletic Commisions are in charge and overlook the weigh-in process.

I hadn't seen too many JDS fights beforehand, but when I saw him outclass that guy completelty that Lesnar couldn't even really beat like that, I watched all of JDS fights after that, JDS is a beast, and Overeem is a kind of like him too, except JDS uses more combination strikes and Overeem is more of a 1 hit set up to KO. It's going to be an interesting fight between them.

As far as steroid testing, u have to be an idiot to fail it. The half life of the steroid dictates its clearance from the body. Different setroids clear out at different times. You can use Testosterone Propionate or peals like Anavar n Winstrol for months and it will clear out relatively quick. It is the test to epitestosterone ratio anyways. Easy to beat.

If it stays standing, 'Reem just has to move and stay away from Brock's straight and overhand right which shouldn't be a problem. I know a few people that take roids and the allegations are not true. Tylenol, Motrin, Prozac are more harmful to your body/liver than roids. I've seen people on Prozac with angered issues oppose to those on roids.

@martinez418 You're an idiot. He didn't gain anything close to 100lbs. He cut before to 205lbs, walking around probably around 225lbs. He is only 256lbs now. He only gained 30lbs and it was over more than 2 years, it's very doable. Before he was trying to stay small so he could make the cut to 205.

Rememeber genetics do play a big part. Look at Alistairs brother, he looks pretty good and apparently has never been on a proper diet. GSP gained 14 lbs of muscle in 1 year..Overeem gained about 30 in 2-3 years. Youve trained for 10 yrs? good, but dont compare yourself to a professional athlete. Diff lifestyle.

Overeem did not gain 30lbs of muscle within 3 years kiddo, that's hilarious. Before the roids, he was at 205/210lbs. Within 2 years after, the man was slightly over 270lbs. @martinez418 Im not debating the fact he did or does roids, god knows how many athletes are juicing but Overeem weighed 220 when he was in Pride and cut the weight. Mir is a touch bigger, look at his legs, waist etc. Plus its only by about 5 lbs..Ive met Mir at a Expo. The guy is huge. Last fight Overeem stepped on the scale at 254....You're delusional if you think the doctors scales are wrong...Im only disagreeing with your #'s....

At fight night, less than 24hrs away, Silva weigh in at 284lbs... so tell me/US how did Silva gain over 20lbs in less than 24hrs? fuck the scale.

@martinez418 Fighters gaining 15-20lbs in a 24 hour period is common. After dehydrating themselves and dieting for the weigh-in they will then go back eating normal and re-hydrating themselves before fight night. Most of the weight cut is water weight, so given Antonio Silva is huge he would probably have more water weight to work with making the cut easy for him. GSP for example has been able to put 23lbs back on before fight time. 170 to 193lbs.

@JamiMetal Then in reality Overeem for example is walking at a 265/270 lbs in weigh, right?. Do to dehydration and what not during the weigh in, plays a huge factor on their artificial weight. That alone proves that's not their actual weight once they enter the ring... but heavier. The dehydration process begins before their weigh in event to meet weight specifications. Good deal bro.

@martinez418 No, no. Overeem doesn't cut any weight at all for the weigh-ins. He comes in at 250-255lbs for the weigh-in, and goes into the fight at the same weight. IF he did cut weight then he would weigh-in closer to the 265lbs limit. It would be detrimental to cut weight down any further for a heavyweight that fights over the 265lbs limit.

@martinez418 Overeem is around 250-255lbs, he is quite lean compared to Brock who is around 270lbs with a higher bodyfat %. The scales are not altered in anyway, the Athletic Commisions are in charge and overlook the weigh-in process.

Lesnar doesn't even have a puncher's chance in this fight. His standup is TERRIBLE. he's a ncaa champion but he couldn't even take down Cain and Cain's 2 times smaller than Alistair. Brock DOES NOT like getting hit and he's facing a K1 level striker with tons of submissions to his credit..LOL. Brock is in serious trouble.
