Aw, come on! The Avaya 9670G, comparable in price and other aspects of configuration, at least has a soft keyboard for text entry. Does Cisco offer this on the 7975g?

No ;-) I am not saying that the Cisco IP Phones are the best. But they are pretty good.

This is not an emulator. This is the Cisco IP Communicator softphone. It was registered to our local Cisco CallManager.
