  • the lady is hot

  • how about pedalles bike!!

  • damn, those legs are sexy

  • Thanks, excellent ..wish I had watched this before venturing out on my first clipless ride !

  • When your first tarting out with them, set them on the LOWEST tension and visually eye out the position of the cleats in regards to your foot. After a few rides, you'll have it down pat, and then you can slowly increase the tension.

  • why are they called clipless pedals?

  • @SuperPaulrose The original "clipped" pedals had cages or toe clips, when this came along "clipless" was the name it was given because it no longer had those cages. It makes no sense from the meaning.

  • thanks - the best clipless tutorial on youtube i would say.

  • This looks terrifying.

  • @SweetAmericanMustard it's easy once with a little practice

  • ok so clipless means you do clip in to your pedal? check

  • @Brizzle412 they are called clipless because they replace the old fashioned method of toe clips and straps. toe clips are cages that attach to the top of old fashioned pedals that shoes slip into like a slipper.

  • @Brizzle412 they refer to a toe clip as the thing that you slide your foot into, so with this is is not using that toe clip.

  • Crystal clear - sorted that question out for me in record time - cheers

  • Isn't risky if you have to stop quickly?

  • @kingofcraig no, you get very good it.

  • @tiehut OK, well that is fair enough, but I do not use them, I do not feel the need for them.

  • @kingofcraig if you don't want clipless pedals, try toe clips and straps which you can use with regular shoes. they are safer too because you are not locked in. just go to a bike shop and tell them you want pedals that have toe clips and straps.

  • @kingofcraig you tube has an excellent video about toe clips if you do not want to use clipless pedals. search on youtube for "Pedals with Toe Clips & Straps"

  • @tiehut OK, thanks.

  • ill ride the bike and get Chinese..and do laundry

  • i want to eat off her thighs

  • @WicKedM3

Because you're a f*ckin' idiot... all of you that posting comments about her legs and how hot she is. Get a girlfriend you stupid f*cks.

  • @WisemanBG I got a sexy girl friend and i think your a fag for dissing on the nice thigh comments cuz she does have nice legs you most like wieners in your mouth....

  • @Brizzle412 don't bullshit me you're just a stupid wanker.

  • Im guna ride that bike until i get home.

  • Can someone please tell me how much better clipless pedals are compared to your standard flat pedals, I average 15mph on literally every ride, would my average mph improve with clipless pedals?

  • @Keyboardbeatz your speed would increase because you get to push the pedals 360 degrees instead of just down. it's also safer because your feet cant fall off by mistake

  • HAHAHA i fell at a light in front of alot of people and my pride was broken bad.

  • I wish I would of though of this before heading out. I did two epic fails when I came to a stop sign... -.-

  • And to anyone wondering if clipless pedals make a difference.... IT dOES big time!!! My performance increase about 40 % if not 50% ..... yo get less tired... climb rock much much better.. you feet would not be jumping out the pedals... much much better

  • @pocho31 Im guessing it saves your nuts a few times aswell... Your foot jumps off the pedal and your groin lands on the bar >_<

  • Why are they called "clipless" if you have to clip in?

  • @DaveyD327 - Not a dumb question at all.... as I wondered the same thing at first. Another type of system used to hold your feet to the pedal is known as the "Toe Clip" or "Cage". These are little strap and plastic systems that you slip your foot into to help you stay locked to the pedal. Since that system is known as a "Clip"... these are "Clipless". Goofy... but simple.

  • @DaveyD327 Because there are no toe clips.

  • step 69....zoom into legs and make masturbation

  • Fuc man i been riding my mt bike for 1 year already.. all my friends i ride with tell me to switch to clipless but I have seen clipless falls and they are not nice... any recommendations as to how to overcome this fear of falling and how long does it take to get use to them? I dont wanna spend to much time riding easy trails im use to hard downhills and love that and im afraid i wont be able to ride as usual for a while with clipless... btw damn those are indeed nice legs.....

  • @pocho31 clipless pedals are great and you should switch to them. But I guarantee you that you will fall at least once or twice so practice going up and down your driveway. It's not as hard as it looks to get out of the pedals but you'll forget your clipped in the first couple times you use them. other than that it doesn't take that long to get used to them and they are a huge benefit. TRY THEM!

  • @agentYJGP I have actually already bought my selft a pair of clipless pedals, I ve been riding for about 1 month for about 4 days a week, and HAVENT Fall !!!... I bought the Shimano PD-M770 Deore XT SPD Mountain Bike Pedals with a pair of specialized shoes they work like a wonder!! they are really easy to clip out..!!! These are greeeeat for somebody that wants to make the transistion. I would strongly recommend them I have been close to fall many times and this clips have saved me. : ) : )

  • Shame she isn't shown wearing 5" high heels those legs are perfect

  • @hypnos315

Yes, and please tell us what 5" high heels are and why a guy understands and know that those will look great.

  • @moleiv

What? Okay, this may come as a total shock to you, but one of the reasons that women wear heels (or one benefit of women wearing heels) is the way the heel forces women to stand and walk. Now, this position dictated by heels accentuates the leg muscles, and can give the leg, thigh, and butt a more toned look.

  • I've never used clipless, but it's clear that if you ride fixed gear bikes, DON"T start with the crank arm perpendicular to the ground like she did...start with the crank arm parallel.

  • ah man, i got my first clipless pedals today and stopped to turn around on the road. and as i was turning i started to lean over to the side and i could get my foot out and fell off sideways. and i tried it again stationary in my house and i did the same thing! lol fail. but still i love em!!

  • Prior to going clipless, I was commuting a lot on platforms. I can think of dozens of times where my feet would bounce off the pedals and twice where both slid off during a hard stop. Feet coming off the pedals can cause you to slide off the seat, which could cause you to fall. If you adjust your clipless pedal tension properly, use multi-release clips and practice clipping in and out before hitting the road, you will not fall down and your feet will always stay put while riding. Safer, IMO.

  • How the fuck is it safer lol??!

  • @HEY8461 because you can pedal very fast without worrying about your feet slipping off the pedals

  • @tiehut Do you have cleats/ clippless pedals?

  • @HEY8461 yep. i started bicycle racing in 1986. we used clips back then.

  • dunno bout safer lol

  • i got shimano spd m520 for christmas, my first time with clipless pedals. i practiced going uphill in the woods. i stopped also but didnt push hard enough so it didnt disengage straight away and started to fall lol then i got my foot out just in time it was hell!!!!!!

  • @warriorthegangsta i agree long time ago my friend just bought his first time clipless pedal and a new shoe he was so excited to use it...

then early morning ride come after less than 100 meters we stop due to traffic, he unclipped his left foot but he crashed from his right side instead.

i want to laugh but i tried not to.

  • what's easier to get in and out of? shimano or crank brothers?

  • @motoxdady shimano makes multi release cleats so it is easier to get out of because you can click out in different ways

  • @motoxdady crank brothers look well cool plus i axed my bike shop and they prefer shimano to crank brothers

  • great legs - mmmmm

  • Why do you need these? I ride on mountain bike trails and have no problems with normal spiked pedals, I would be afraid to use these if I had to put my foot out quickly, the clips would prevent me from doing so and I would land on a rock and break my leg, this happened to my cousin who had these.

  • @rctrucknut

I totally agree with you. I just set up my mountain bike with clipless and I am going back to toe cages. First, I didn't feel that much of a "power transfer" difference between the cages and clips. Secondly, I have fallen over 5 times due to not being able to get my foot out. People talk about practicing, but I don't have time to get injured over the stupid pedals. Safer my ass.

  • @vandstra I would not use toe cages either, do not use anything that straps your feet to the pedal, on mountain bike trails you need to be able to put your foot out immediatly. If something can go wrong, it will.

  • @rctrucknut

I have never had any sort of accident with toe cages. I think toe cages are the ideal compromise between allowing foot mobility while still maintaining some sort of positive connection with the pedal.

  • I use clipless on my fixed gear, it's a whole other animal, lol. Coming to a stoplight is kinda tricky because you don't have a freewheel, you just have to roll until your pedal comes to a safe point in which you can unclip. But I love it, i'm not going back to toe clips!!!

  • Great video. Looks much more educational than some other the others on here.

  • damn, is she a track racer?

  • nice legs lets ride or you can ride me

  • Clip-less are the single biggest step forward in in the last 20 years. More so than carbon. Its the single best cost effective upgrade you can do to any bike. I can't harddly ride a big with out clip-less.

  • I would recommend anyone to stay well away from clipless pedals!! They are well too dangerous, I was riding with a group of roadies not long ago and 3 of them use clipless pedals! Two of them got to close to one another, and both Crashed! their feet were just stuck to the pedals and basically they rolled horrendously with the bikes! One broke his eye socket, and fractured his ribs! The other need stitches and had bad grazing! I think clippless pedals are way to over rated and not safe!!

  • SPD pedals have it's pros and cons.

pros: very easy to gather speed, it hold your foot well and you waste less energy.

cons. while riding in the city, or somewhere where you might need an emergency stop, stay away from those pedals.

I think SPD pedals are good for a long none stop trips. but if you need to stop on every second light SPD pedals is not the best option to go with.

  • I wanna go in and out of her clipless pedals...

  • use a door way and practice clipping in and out or someone who you can hold on to

  • OMG!!! n That chick is HAWT BUFF and HARD!!!! NICEEEE

  • This is quite dangerous, if you had to stop or use your foot you would have that wasted time to just clip off your shoes why is this even needed for cycling?

  • i still dont get how its called clipless if you "clip" your foot in

  • @yamaharider575 Traditional pedal systems utilized a pedal with a toe cage, or toe "clips". Clipless refers to the lack of toe clips. I was confused once upon a time...

  • @mostroboi Yeah, the term "clipless" is meaningless unless you understand the use of toe clips and straps prior to them.

  • @yamaharider575 i think it's because you get the same advantages as pedals with toe clips without the actual clips :)

  • @yamaharider575 LOL..I just wrote the exact same thing about them in another clipless video.. But I think its because they used to call CLIPS those ugly pedals that you would slip your toe into that belt system - you know thos ethat you usually find on staionary bikes.. thatyou have to bend down and attach them as if they're high heel shoes like women wear.. anyway. Those were called clips..and so since now you can have the same effect withiotu those clips - these things are called.. you got it

  • Hows this safe? I have only fallen down once but i'd be surprised if someone hasn't managed to fall down the first time they used it. But I love my SPDs now.

  • Yesterday i bought some Shimano SPD Shoes.

I tested them with my bike and after slowing down, i forgot that i had the new shoes on :D

The result: i fell down like a stone :D

  • @Affje800 It's funny, right? It almost seems to happen in slow motion. The whole time, you're struggling to get them out, but you know it's just hopeless. :D I'm sure people who know nothing about bikes are wondering why we don't try and put our foot down; it must look really funny to them!

  • my cannondale r500 is better :P

  • she has great legs

  • thank youuuu

  • Nice legs!

  • Yes i want legs like that!!! I'd better get on with my cycling.

  • surprised to see shoelaces on those spd shoes. dangerous.

  • it's safer?? yeah right!! why do my knees and hips still hurt.

  • @nembhard600rr Definitely from other fit issues...or perhaps with pedals with no float.

  • What sexy thunder thighs you have. And thats a compliment : )

  • sexy

  • can i use SPD pedals with a road bike? thanks

  • Negative, only road cleats works with a road bike and MTB with MTB, but SPD shoes can have both attachments, so its up to you.

  • i have the spd pedals on the road bike...

  • You can use the pedals if you have the corresponding cleats on your shoes.

ie. Roadies are more likely to use SPD-R, and road shoes mostly support SPD-R but not SPD.

You can use SPD pedals, but you need shoes that can use SPD cleats... generally these are MTB styled shoes.

  • Nice pedal system, and she has the greatest legs!!!

  • Is there any manufacturer/ who make hyrbid pedals?

i.e. one side clipless & other side platform

Which cleat design have the easiest engagement & dismount?

e.g. can shimano shoe work with schwinn pedal?

  • shimano m505

  • Good video. Going to get myself a pair of these for my bike.

  • at 32 her legs look over muscly

  • I think clipless pedals are great for the road. I think they are death traps on the trail though.

  • I remember when I first tried clipless pedals. I wanted to make a short break and forgot I was clipped in. I fell down and struggled for about a minute to get out of the clips. Two guys rode by and laughed at me. Well I still don't feel good in this things but I found a solution: No more breaks.

  • it took me 3 years to get the courage to try, thousands of miles later, i finally tried. i'm so glad i did, more power, less fatique. the video helped a lot, especially, the close-up.

  • i just bought those same pedals in the video

  • 1st time using it I totally forgot I was locked in and tried to take my foot off the pedal the traditional manner. I tipped over as I was stopped at a light around rush hr traffic. I felt like such a dumb ass and tried to pretend like I had some sort of an equipment failure. I got up, took my bike to the sidewalk and crouched down opening my tool bag and pretended to examine my pedals. :P

  • @rong7676

    HAHA! :P

  • @rong7676 lol nice move when that happed 2 me it wasnt tht bad cuz harldy anyone saw then i sed oops fail then evry1 looked lol

  • @rong7676 HA! thank god for that. i thought only i did that. good to see others have done it as well. now i don't feel like such a twat!

  • @rong7676 There's a very good reason that your comment has 35 thumbs up! We've all done that. I love the "equipment failure" excuse; it's so true!

  • @rong7676 that is accuatly a great cover up half the people would prob. belive it

  • @rong7676 HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA, that's such a cool post. I totally do similar stuff :)

  • @rong7676 LOL..just blame the equipment!...people are soo judgemental.

  • @rong7676

I love how the first thing you always think about in these situations is salvaging some pride. If possible you'll always cycle around the nearest corner before checking out bike damage/bleeding...

  • @Vrooten

Haha, it's like people who look back down at the ground after clumsily tripping over their own feet.

  • @rong7676 lmao nice...

  • @rong7676

Lmao it happens to all of us, I didnt practice the first time I just went on the road and forgot I was clipped in and fell on a sidewalk haha

  • Clipless? But you have to "clip" your feet into them...lol.

Also, how can it be safer? If I'm throwing myself down a hill (due to avoiding a cute fluffy bunny), I want my feet out/off of the pedals 20 minutes ago, things like rocks, twigs (insert nasty looking object here) and things coming at my face, worrying about un-clipping my shoes by twisting my ankle (possible injury there) is the last thing on my mind. I'm gonna end up smashing my love plums on the top tube/seat/rear tyre etc lol.

  • u fall over and u try to run away from a car, no u cant. it runs ur ankle over and snaps them clean in half and ur ankle is shatterd. u dont think that is painfull getting them off?

  • lets see... in what kind of situations clipless would be a safer alternative?

how about loosing your footing on your platform pedals, having your ass slam onto your seat then try to put back your foot on your pedal and all of a sudden you enter a gnarly rock garden that ends in a 5 ft drop? OH NOEEESSSS

  • It's not safer than a platform pedal but 1,000x safer and easier than the toe clip nonsense.

  • Agreed!

  • @tigonridge I think the safety idea of clipless is that your feet don't slip off the pedals inadvertently such as when spinning a fast cadence for during any hard effort out of the saddle.

  • @cokker Clipless means no toe clip and strap on the pedal...which was standard fare 25 years ago.

  • What model shoes do you have? Looking at men's version.. I'll use on MTB.

  • ive got Cannondale's, they are fairly good, but are a hybrid of a hiking and biking shoe

  • nice legs

  • I was about to say the same thing.

  • @logcam21 Yeah, totally excellent thighs. World class :)

  • i always ride clipless pedls its eseier

  • when I first got my clipless pedals, I knew I wouldn't fall, and i never did. but I sure got close a few times... I guess I just never had that problem. I can't see going back now that I've had them a few months.

  • I fell over twice the first couple weeks useing clipless pedals. Looking back, my first reaction was to check to see if any1 saw me. My body was fine but my ego was hurt...lol.

  • It is pretty funny watching cyclists fall over at traffic lights lol

  • wow!! nice legs..

  • whatta legs!

  • awesome video I just got a road bike a few days ago (literally like 2 days ago) the pedals came with a metal toe clip that i had to take out so they wouldn't cut into my shoes, They still have the straps which are actually quite annoying because i will mess with them for at least 2 minutes trying to get my other foot in them to get going. Hopefully clipless wont have the same problem.

  • thanks for the info, i'm going for my first Clipless pedals soon :)))))

  • nice legs

  • I installed mine last week. They're great! What is not mentioned in the video is that the efficiency is better in part because you can pull also, not just push, so you can spin really. My advice is to practice this and make sure you are pulling as well, all the time. This is useful also because it will make you remember that you are locked. I did about 110 kms in the last two days and didn't fall. Oh, and when stopping, I pull out both feet, always. She has nice legs (in the video I mean)

  • good video thanks for the close up i just had mine installed yesterday and i have been working on clipping in/out the past few hours and it came to me really ez, well worth the money you will njoy cycling so much more

  • Yeah nicely made vid, I just bought some clipless pedals/shoes today and I've just been doing the same thing in my garage, fell over into the wall and feels like I've broken my little finger, but hey, no pain no gain.

  • Thanks for the video. I took my bike out today for a clipless pedal practice session. I was clipping in and out like a pro in no time. I laughed when I thought about what my LBS guy told me. "You WILL fall". Not me sucker! Well, not 2 minutes later, as I was coming to a stop, I fell right over like an idiot. Then I brushed myself off and thought about the other thing he said: "Everybody falls". I'll keep practicing and I'm definitely sticking to it.

  • Clipless pedals are awesome once you master them. People make mistakes when they usually forget that they are locked into the system. If you are looking for performance, they are awesome. But if your just Starbucks hopping, stick with the platform pedals. I have been using clipless for 4 years and have only had two clipless spills. I think a large number of people get their pride hurt than actually hurting themselves with clipless pedals.

  • I fitted these to my mountain bike last year and fell on my ass twice.lol. I came to a spot light, unclipped my left foot to put it on the ground, my weight transfered to the right and i fell straight over because my right foot wouldn't come out.lol. So there i was on my side stuck to the bike like an idiot :). Not for me i'm afraid

  • That happens to everyone, I certainly did. You should stick at it - you will wonder how you did without. Most clipless-related falls happen at slow speed in my experience.

  • Ya you should give it another try. I ride road bikes and when i first used clip in pedals, i was scared. I went riding with my friends and when we came to a stop, I pulled out the wrong foot and fell over because my other foot wouldnt come out. It was really scary but you should really try it again.

  • Thanks for the close-up on clipping in!
