A major source of fun from ht6000 is that you can program basslines and chord accompaniment and it is transmitted thru midi, a fact no one talks very much about. i'm sending sequenced basslines to my casio cz1000 and syncing it to my drum machine, having loads of fun! I got my ht 6000 by trading it for a Behringer midi controller that i wasn't using very much. I think i got a great deal, by trading a boring mute keyboard for such a beautifully souding synth that has its own sequencer. Love casio
@mishmoshable Thanx this is only the synth and some reverb and delay. Some parts are sequenced with my Mam sq-16 hardware sequencer and some parts are played by hand.
We definitely need more detailed videos of this wonderful synth keyboard here on YouTube (especially with drums). There is a freeware VSTi plug-in available which emulates the little brother HT-700. You can watch a little demo of it on my channel.
I just bought one of these for $150!!! It's being shipped to me right now and I'm very excited. Without a doubt one of the most underrated and overlooked vintage synths out there.
@CestLaGuerreMPInc - Where did you find a HT-6000 for $125; I just about fell out of my chair! I'm looking for a HT-6000(if you happen to know where to find one).
@Lieutenatron There were 2 x HT 6000s on Ebay UK only a couple of weeks ago. One was collection only and sold for 26 GBP. The other offered shipping and sold for about 230 GBP! I got my HT6000 about a year ago from Ebay also, cost me 90GBP. It's a very interesting keyboard, though despite its 4 DCOs its little brothers, the HT700/ 3000 and HZ600 sound more analogue despite having only one DCO.
@1986uno45s I hasten to add that 2 x HT6000s coming up for sale at the same time is a very rare occurrence. They're actually the first 6000s I've seen for sale on Ebay UK since I bought mine in October 2010!
Boys and girls, they had much better toys at the end of 80s than the iPad, wouldn't you agree?

Did you MIDI sequence the melodies or record them in real time yourself?
