Hayden's sponsors kill animals in the name of animal testing. Hayden is also a charity ambassador for MacDonald. Japanese whaling industry does not pay Hayden a single penny, which is why she is upset and is trying to make money out of it.
There are many people working in the slaughterhouse all over the world. People in Taiji have been making livelihood with hunting whales and dolphins for more than 400 years. Many cultures in the world. Who has the right to deny other culture? Don`t you eat pig, cow and chicken? you think ,we are permitted to kill cow ,but you are not to kill dolphin. This is just completely hypocrite.
These celebs are promoting animal welfare for wild creatures of our oceans...their message is simple and beneficial for the ecosystems who are being destroyed by commercial fishing and hunting...
Factory farming is a huge issue aswell, why bring that up against people who care?
The fact is...this is showing the kind of action society benefits from, people who want rights for animals and safety for species, you cant say "ohhhh what about meat"
Do people honestly think that this is somehow worse than what happens in factory farms to millions upon millions of chickens and pigs every single day? Do people realize pigs are one of the most intelligent animals of them all? Most of you probably don't even care where your meat comes from but you can't condemn this when you buy factory farmed meat. Oh yes, you might say "but they're killed humanely!" well the same argument applies here...not all Japanese would kill dolphins inhumanely, either.
American,, shamelss, they eat beefs!!! Americans also hunt whales at Alaska. and the girls, is it actrees, teen idele?? she eats beef and sure not smart enough to understand this issue. Japan is the nation of dignity and has long history. why Americans with narrow back grounds can complain this
"Japan is a nation of dignity," so when do you plan on showing the rest of the world your dignity. You may want to can the dignity bullshit story until all that suffered in your prison camps are gone. By the way, Fuck you....
Rasta, you use terms like barbaric, but don't you see how random they are? Why don't we have scenes of other "conventional" animals being slaughtered? The sense of "barbarity" here is brought about by a qualitative difference of perception, not about anything inherently barbaric. If you assert the wrongness of dolphin killing, you must assert the wrongness of killing all animals. No room for discrimination.
Dolphins are killed as pests for fishes & oysters all over the world. To kill dolphins is just same as to kill dingos as pests. My pet white pigs are very cute & intelligent more than any other animals.
IS NOT JAPAN, BUT STILL IT HAPPENS MANY PLACES. NOT JUST WHALES AND DOLPHINS, BUT ANIMALS WE DO NOT HEAR ABOUT. ANIMALS-MAMMALS, ALL NEED TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT,(CUTE OR NOT SO CUTE). WHERE LAWFUL KILLS TAKE PLACE, IT SHOULD ONLY BE DONE WITH NO PAIN. 100% PAINLESS, NO CRUELTY. The criminal action of whale hunting and dolphin slaughter and other, the concerned people of the world must boycott all products which carry the label "MADE IN THAT COUNTRY-STATE"
This isn't an issue of sustainability or efficient farming practices. Ask Dave Rastovich or any Sea Shepherd, this is about each animal's equal right to live free and unexploited, be it a chicken, pig, or dolphin.

I don't think the celebrities think of it as a photo op. I know it can all seem a bit "look at me, I'm a star who cares".
But I think it's good they can do something worthwhile with their fame.

Dolphins are not farm animals that we breed and then slaughter. We can have pigs and chickens to
produce more than a hundred offsprings a year. Dolphins can only bear one young per pregnancy and
yet 14,000 dolphins are killed every year in Japan.
