@dpounder101 Don't say alcohol is addictive. Yes there are alcoholics out there but they are rare. It isn't like alcohol is one of those things that most people who drink it are addicted to it. Everything has cases of addiction, even ganja. And the difference is, ganja smells like ass, and isn't nearly as fun as a buzz on.

@dpounder101 Well that is probably because alcohol is easier for people to get their hands on. There are not many people addicted to alcohol, but you know there are some street drugs out there like cocaine and heroin where there is a decent chance you could get hooked first try.

@MajBlood well the truth is you cant get addicted to something with one try, you may like it and try again but thats not an addiction yet. alcohol has a very similar addiction rate to cocaine. you just never hear of the functional cocaine addicts. anyways, my only point originally is that alcohol is more harmful then the average person realizes, especially once compared with illegal drugs. it is a powerful sedative similar to, but more toxic than, thebarbiturates, which were deemed unsafe for us

In a debate, people present different sides of an argument, ideally based on facts rather than bullshit and attempt to persuade the other side. They do not say "we have different opinions". That is the opposite of debate.

Speaking of ganja, it may smell like ass, but alcohol makes your breath like ass. Also, ganja is way more fun to buzz on when your liver HURTS every time you drink. (That can happen, you know.) No one has ever over-dosed on weed.
