@Rotundalover to make that "chunk" sound if u watch his right hand he is lifting his fingers up just enough to mute the strings so in a way its kinda like palm muting with the other hand :)

well it dpends on the size, brand, quality, type of wood etc etc etc.. but the one i use in this video is a cheap $60-$70 lanikai soprano. a couple months ago i got an oscar schmidt tenor made of mango wood for $220.

yea but i did that when i was a noob and accidentally got strings for a concert uke.. it worked okay but im sure the right size string would have ben alot better haha
