  • @MrFlexybee Honestly, I don't think Felix has the endurance. She could be faster if she works on endurance, but I don't think her coach knows anything about that or proper drills and therapy for it. I just think she should switch coach because she didn't improve on her 200m and I think her 400m remained consistent or have a slight improvement. But hey, where will see at London.

  • @MrFlexybee When I see Felix sprints she does several things wrong. I don't think she has knowledgeble coaches regardless how long they been in the game. It's apparent they don't know anything in physiology, flexibility, kinetics, and breathing. I just don't think she trains right or properly. I've seen several of her workouts and practice session and they look like play time. She did well in the 400m but was burned out which shouldn't happen. I wish I could coach her.

  • @MrFlexybee I get what you saying about VCB, but I honestly think that Felix and Jeter can't challenge her. I don't see those two winning it over her but I can see SAF or a surprise from someone else. Jeter has the speed but not technique, Felix is missing speed, SAF has speed and technique. SAF has been practicing and working on her 200m technique for some time now and I think she will come out in 2012. She will be a threat in the 200m.

  • @phebeharris Not that am defending Allyson but i think the 400m she run in Daegu cuz her a lot of strength hence reducing her speed as well.in most of her interviews you realised she concentrated more on the 400m done 200 bcos she thought she had a lot of exepreince in the 200m. And with Jeter for her first time try she took silver in a strong field, meaning if she put certain things right with John Smith then she will be equal to the task.

  • @MrFlexybee It's not necessarily Demus age. I wonder if she is putting the time into it. You have to dedicate to the sport and as her being a mother I don't know if that is her priority. I doubt she's out and about drilling, practicing, or working on technique. For Felix, there are so many girls that can take the 200m title. In 2012 I don't think it will look like it did in Daegu. There will be some upsets and new winners. VCB I don't doubt, but Felix or Jeter is questionable.

  • @phebeharris And also there are so many things that can happen within a year ,so i agree on ur point that there could be new winners(just as Fraser came from no where to win in Beijing). But you also have to know that experience matters a lot, those that have been there for many years can still go into it a win.Vcb is not untouchable as you making it seem to be cuz if she was then Helsinki,Osaka and Berlin would neva have happened. It is still anybody's race.Fact

  • @MrFlexybee I'm writing her and Demus off in 2012.

  • @phebeharris I respect your opinion. As for Demus she is aging so i know Merlin will surely retain her title. But for Allyson i cant simply do that considering what she has done in the sport and the number of medals she has.And also she is in her mid 20's as well, all she need to do is to put one or two things right. When Allyson won in Osaka we all thought she was the clear favourite for Bejing but Vcb pulled a sorprise.the fact that Allyson is 3rd here does mean we should write her of

  • @phebeharris And also i will like you to know that the present womens races are not predictable like that of the mens were everyone knows Bolt win and destroy any feild. It is always different when it comes to the women races, you cant predict until they cross the finish line. When the ladies line up they give each other a good run for their money.Maybe when the diamond race begins for this year we can predict possible outcomes at the Olympics.Fact

  • I strongly believe Bobby Kersee has something special in store for Felix in 2012,and by now i hope she has learnt a lot from all her mistakes and expereinces.Felix is one person i will neva write off prior to 2012 .....................cuz when she lost in 2004 she came back strong and won in 2005(helsinki) and again when she lost in Beijing she still came strong again and won in Berlin.she always get better and stronger out of her lost.that is all the motivation she needs.

  • Allyson is gorgeous

  • This race was epic

  • Allyson needs to strengthen her legs i think with heavy weights like the bigger runners.. she just doesn't have that 100meter power like Campbell brown and jeter..shes a great 200 meter runner but London 2012 its sad to say shell get 2nd or 3rd again

  • I came here to honestly watch the race..BUT WOW. Allyson is simply gorgeous i must say.

  • Allyson should be concern for 200 M olympic London 2012..!! if she do it,, she will take the titled back from vcb. no wonder.

  • VCB has blossomed so much-----I love her so much, any day har husband slip---him slide.m LOL

    lOVE YOU vcbbbbbb

  • @ikem200 thank you , thank you very much at least you have dont your research b4 you comment well done

  • @ikem200 yea they all doubled here but you can neva compare the 400m and 100m races because both are different all together.i dont VCB would have can be able to run the 400m but am pretty sure allyson can handle the 100m and even would have medal here. And if she has the fastest time how many world championship gold has she got to show for it.

  • @MrFlexybee she started out as a 400m runner if you know anything in her high school days thats waht she use to do along with the hurdles

  • @Max0077 Neva come to youtube and make false and blank statements here,Felix never run 400m in high school ,she was only doing the 100m,200m and was in a relay team called BEAT.you have not even met her during sch days and you dont know her personally so stop the lies. She went on to win a 200m race in mexico beating elite athletes and also won the world youth tittle in the 100m in Hungary.she was neva a 400m runner till now. is either u are clueless or you dont know her personally

  • @MrFlexybee me NEVA Felix runs 400m I said VCB did u must be american

  • @MrFlexybee you always come here chatting shit about the jamaican athletes as if you know them or you know anything about jamaicans hihg school track n field...

  • @Max0077 Yes bcos you Jamaicans dont also like americans and always come to youtube and say bad things about them.deal with it

  • @MrFlexybee what you mean i we jamaican dont like Americans dude i have travel all over the world for world and i dont hate people or a nation fyi i have lived in the USA for 2 years why wld i hate you people,

  • @MrFlexybee you know what i leave u as you are an idiot you just come to Youtube and full the page of pure shit dont txt back

  • @Max0077 If am an Idiot and you got the the time you reply to me then you are the biggest idiot ever to live.if u are not stupid then i dont really what you are.you the biggest looser ever on youtube.......wackoooooo

  • Watched the video again and i got give credits to Vcb but can also can not write off Allyson here.It is obvious in all this battles and rivalry Allyson will have the last laugh in terms of age or medal count wise.Next year will surely be the grestest sprint year to come becuase it will be filled with revenge, complacency or even quest for more.

  • VCB, a true legend, world champion at 70 m, 100, and 200 m. 2 times Olympic champion at 200 m, and several golds, and silvers medals at the relays... World champ at junior WC.. and many more.

  • @sequiaonda78 sorry for the post of wrong info here..........VCB neva has gold medal in the 4*100m relays at the world.if that was what you meant.

  • Pedestrian time. Michael Johnson got it right. Felix ran a 21.82 @ WC in 2007 in Osaka which would have blown away this field. If she decides to do just 200m, she'll beat em all in London. But on the other hand, she's a heck of a 400m sprinter - just barely lost in Daegu - and I'd hate to see her give up that event.

  • @66fredo99 Campbell-Brown ran faster than Felix has ever run at the 2008 Olympics though

  • @66fredo99

VCBs' personal best ran at the 2008 olympics is 21.74

  • VCB is cute and fast and Jeter is fine and fast. Anyway, they both are my girls! Lol

  • debbie ferguson made her cry

  • Allyson Felix i will live to tell the whole world the 3 times i saw cross that finish line with style and beauty.(Helsinki,Osaka and Berlin). You have graced the world of Athletics as a graceful runner by making sprinting look easier and beautiful. You are the only woman with 8 world championship gold .A great heart and a true champion both in and out of the sports. You will always be remebered with your endurance and relaxation technique.Runnin of the 400m will turn u into a Legend.God bless you.

  • the only reason why Jeter lost is cause she let VCB get away too far the first 100 and preserving some of her energy

  • MAN THAT'S FAST SON

  • in life ppl make u tink ,every athlete have injury except allyson felex....yyyyyy...

  • uhh those muscles are so unattractive

  • @MadmanKillEmAll I bet your fat hahaha

  • @blackshardy you like a muscular woman? daamn, you into some freaky shit

  • @MadmanKillEmAll I Think Carmelita Jeter is the most beautiful sprinter since Inger Miller was retired , VCB is nice too but too serious i never see her really smile, Felix beautiful too but too teen age-like Shelly-Ann Fraser that i hope to see also in the 200 next year, is pretty and funny, yes i like this muscular women!!

  • hoorayy!!! for my country...jamaica 2 di worl....

  • Jamaicans are by far the fastest people on planet earth.

  • I cant believe Jeter beats Felix

  • @Shamar1160 Agree and Jeter will beat Allison for a few more medals. lol

  • @Shamar1160 for now but that will never happen again

  • @Shamar1160 Well, Jeter is the second fastest women at 100 meters and she was inspired being World champion. And Felix was tired after the 400 meters heats and final. But so was VCB and Jeter after the 100 meters.

  • @sequiaonda78 Running 400m and 100m is totally a different thing, that's why Micheal Johnson is the only human able to do the 200 and 400 double . . .

  • @IChir000 Are u for real? Michael Johnson is the only human able to do 200 and 400 double. Bolt can do it if he really wants to. MIchael Johnson is the only human on steroids who did it. Please tell me why would someone at the top of their game give up athletics?

  • @babyxkande if you say Micheal is on steriods then i can also argue that usain bolt is also on steriods as well.Bolt broke the 200m record set by MJ,if bolt was drugfree then i bet he would neva have got closer to the record. The jamaicans always accused the americans for drug use but it seems their athletes are the ones running faster times now(bolt n blake). My question is how can the people you term as drug users are not running fast times again but the drugfree jamaicans are running fast times

  • There is only one global sprint title---- from youth through senior, left for her to claim, and that is olympic 100m crown. She will win that in London and that will make her the undisputed female sprinter of all time

  • i love when i listen to the comenting and there is nothing bias being said

  • veronica jus went into an extra gear at the end

  • @gullypricncestr8

really? I thought Jetter just died, while VCB just maintain her form and speed.

  • i'm so glad for vcb muah!! love you

  • go VCB, my fav athlete in the world I luv you girl you deserve itttt!!!!!!.....

  • ALL THE AMERICANS ARE DOPED UP THAT'S THE ONLY REASON THEY CAN BEAT WE THE JAMAICANS

  • @Gauntlett12345 IM A JAMAICAN AND THOUGH THE AMERICAN SPRINTERS ARE OUR MAIN RIVALS AND BEAT OUR ASS ON THE TRACK AT TIMES I DONT BELIEVE ALL THE AMERICAN ATHLETES ARE ON DRUGS AT ALL...,,,,

  • that was impressive.....

  • Jamaica for life sprint capital of the world we a steppa

  • Race starts at 1:34

  • dont give me bullshit about women being equal to men... male 200 metres is more than 2 seconds faster and men are far more superior in every other sport

  • @lnUter0 what is with you

  • @lnUter0 Also because in the last years female sprint lost a lot of consideration by media and maybe sponsors, i think at their times Ottey Torrence Brisco-Hooks etc were much more considered than VCB Jeter & Felix are today.

This race was a clear example of what you don't have to do while running the 200. Jeter hasn't yet the speed endurance to run this distance at the same level of the 100 and she has run the last 50 m on her knees, VCB has drastically unlearned how to run a good 200.

  • @lnUter0 In Addiction Kerron Stewart & Sherone Simpson were the shadow on themselves, Shalonda Solomon did a good race in the semifinal, Felix would have been the gold medal if she never run the 400.

  • Eerm you messed up on the title because it is abundantly clear that the people in this video are men.

  • Thank you for not ruining the result in the title

  • 2:27 Did nobody else notice that?

  • @YourTheManGuy notice what....?

  • @iJvs11 the person go past :L

  • there was a kitchen at the finish line

  • @abhouston1 -.-' yes of course there was...

  • Jeter couldn't cross it, she couldn't manage the water

  • @bgee4 lol exactly

  • i like the dance they do at 1:58 after crossing the line :D

  • lol the white girl had a pink ass XD

  • Jamaica rule at the 200M.

  • the one person who dislike this is from the US lol

  • I was looking at the Ukrainian sprinter during the race...she is hot

  • VCB I am so happy for you. You make Jamaica poud.

Congrats to Jeter and Felix track and field would not be same without you guys.

  • Want to play the 1st game on YouTube?

    watch?v=rnwCEFGFJ4Q

Or check out Annotation Devastation on my channel

  • whos quicker men or women ?

  • @mattage991 men

  • Poor white girl never stood a chance.

  • this race bring tears to my eyes, great sportsmanship veronica im so proud of u,we luv u

  • Id wreck Alison Felix

  • @Stonegasm yeah i was thinking that, she's fine. take her when she's in the "set" position. nice.

  • OH LOOK.. she's jamaican.. -_-

  • i want to see the medal ceremony

  • VCB

  • Can't wait for the 4x100m, I know Jamaica is going to win that

  • Ja truly are winning everything....its about time one of the islands done this, so big up for that. all of them are great runners, gotta give props. i cant wait for the relay ahhhhhh, dats gone be maddddddd between JA & USA.

  • Did you hear Michael Johnson's bais comment about alison felix, when they are winning all is well but because she lost to VCB she didnt train properly as if they are the only ones training and they are the only runners on the track, this is a race, someone will win and someone will lose. when VCB lost this race for so many years and felix won it wasnt a problem, Damn these americans are so bias

  • @tafarimekenen Shame on you,he was not bais in anyway way.he gave due credit to VCB when it matters most and also commented on allyson's performance as well.he mentioned the fact that Vcb was the double champion at the olympics n finally got the world tittle that has eluded her for years. He said wat he said bcos we all know well that Allyson is an rounder athlete and with much train she could have won everything here, this is not a bais statement and you it very true.

  • This was by far one of the most exciting events for the entire championship. I think all these ladies should be commended for their individual efforts. I am a dedicated fan of VCB and will always be. But Felix, and Jeter did really well. So Congrats to Queen VCB and my hats off to the other ladies.

  • great run

  • For a nation the size it is, Jamaica has shown that through all the bad publicity garnered from crime that there is still hope. Hope brought forward by our athetes, musicians and all the other hard working, patriotic and devoted citizens of this country. Jamaican and proud!

  • Honestly after many years of getting silver VCB deserves the gold. And we cant take anything away from Felix either, she is the three time champion in this events. This two women has graced the 200m events with style and beauty. And i also give credit to felix for leaving her comfort zone and trying the 400m as well, first ever she tried to double and did not go well, but she always gonna learn from this dissapiontment.Congrat to VCB

  • @MrFlexybee Honestly, I don't know if you are Jamaican r American but u r the first person i've seen here who watch the video nd said wat needed 2b said nd congrat the atlhetes...didnt try 2take away anything from either of them nd didnt go off abt who is better nd all the other shit dem idiot cum ya cum chat...hats off too u man!

  • @digi6061 So true we all know why Allyson lost here, she might not be micheal johnson to win both at this championsip but she is always gonna come back strong and has a chance of seeing 3 to 4 world champs again.Am really happy about VCB as well she is great both in and out of the sport,am happy she got a world tittle in her favourite event for the first time and i also hope Allyson will oneday get that olympic gold medal aslo.Jeter will also be happy as well a gold in the 100 n silva in the 200

  • love you veronica concrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she was really moving fast look at her foot at 3:25 onwards. she outta control :)

  • Just liked a bullet....excellent.

  • goooo veronica... show dem seh a yuh run tings.. a great race from start to finish.... a bullet start and a fast finish......congrats VCB

  • VCB has been a great champion since she started running, I was so upset when Shelly-Ann and the other young athletes were disrespecting her in the last WC. But VCB has always stood the test of times. SHe may not always win gold but she almost always gets a medal. I thought she had a shot at the doublle this year but the darn false start rule pressures you to sit in the blocks. Did you see how far behind VCB came to get the 100m silver? VCB- the best 200m female runner of all times!!. AWESOME!!

  • @chazehazel not just the best 200m runner, i think shes the greatest sprinter ever. shes the only female sprinter to win gold medals at every level, world youth, world junior, world champs both indoors and outdooors and olympics

  • sherone doesn't look the same since returning from injuries n kerron looks tired and beat hope they can pull it together for 2012.the mvp track club not doing so well this time around, wonder whats up with dem?shelly should run some 200m to start next season to improve her top end speed which will complement her bullet start

  • VCB you deserve it.

  • I know VCB would have won the 200m. I told my frenz tht she would have won the 100m too...only a pity she didn't get a good start. congrats to VCB, Sherone, Kerron and to all the athletes fron JA.Felix need to know the saying"craven choke puppy dawg" or"want all, lose all".She must not bite off more than she can chew. As for Jeter, she lucky in the 100 but she will never beat our VCB in the 200m. VCB full a top end speed.

  • Being a true Champion is more than finishing first place in a competition, it's a behavior; for many people it's a way of life. A true Champion displays great work ethics and is not afraid to step up to a challenge with confidence. A true Champion is capable of handling losses, and therefore is never a sore loser. A true champion respects the opponents. A true Champion is both mentally and physically strong. A True Champion is someone that is graceful and humble in Character. This was By

  • @tigguh19 Everyone is not the same. Everyone has their own personality. Your description of a true champion is just your opinion. There is no set standard in what a true champion should be.

  • @Diafgadgsut Dude i Post that for VCB and Felix and VCB is a True Champion, i hate Negative people and it same to me that you are a Hater no Offense

  • I agree with you emotion overcome me, my eyes became so watery

  • Brilliant race VCB, congrats!! Sherone and Kerron good go at it. Congrats to everyone who made the final. The race is a instant classic

  • I've never seen VCB passed in mid race and win. That was the run of a true champion. Sorry she didn't get the double though but good championships for her so far.

  • @KasCasual VCB was not passed in the race. Jeter tried to get level with VCB but she did not. A side angle view showed that was the case.

  • I am a male from Jamaica and mi nah lie mi feel teary inside. i love u VCB. A true Champion

  • Well felix, after looking at brisco hooks she decided to do the double...and the result? bronze! Next time felix, young girl, stick to your strengths. If the 400 meters came AFTER the 200m then maybe she can execute it but not before. while some women like torrence, brisco hooks and perec can do doubles does not mean EVERYOTHER athlete can. Young felix, hope you have learnt the lesson.

AND, to the deserving champion Veronica, A big congratulations. I was teary eyed watching this.Congratulations!

  • Freeze it a 3:47, pretty kewl huh

  • VCB Gold in the 200m. At last! I am enormously happy she is my favorite sport.

  • The yellow yam is working, Jeter need some.

  • Its best to stick to what you do best. Felix was greedy and unfortunately this set her back. Nothing wrong with wanting more but she should listen next time. She had silver for 400m and bronze for 200m. I was expecting her to win 400m but it went to the Botswanan.

  • Yes this is great commentary. The Brits are known for great commentary but they should translate this into Athletics. VCB deserved it, of course. It just goes to show that you should not give up untill the end. Felix was warned not to do double but as a the typical American stubborness came through.

  • VCB,great race...you make your country extremely proud. Congrats

  • Great race VCB. You make your country proud

  • VCB reminds me of my car a nice balance between acceleration and top end speed my k20 type r vtec with no turbo (dope) of coarse i get smoke from time 2 time but only by cars running boost and all kind of aftermarket things which is like doping 2 me.but i'm proud because my vtec is stock and never done anything 2 it,so when i see a corola boost 2 the max beat me i feel no way cause we all know a stock corola cant beat a stock type r unless you dope it.lol.."vtec that's what we tek"

  • No surprise watching this...I was rooting for Jeter, but, she's gotta learn how to run this f-ing 200M finally! I am proud she ran it the best we'd could possibly expect from her, however. VCB is simply the queen of the 200...to beat her, you've really got to bring it, and clearly, they weren't ready for her. I love that she is humbled by her win...good for VCB!

  • i love how the bahamas girl kept talking to her :D thats the caribbean spirit!

  • im so happy for her!!! tears came to my eyes :D

  • JAMAICAN PRIDE TO THE MAX

  • go Veronica !! you deserve it girl

  • My eyes are filled watching this...Look at the talent in our country? We need to be more like this and end the violence and corruption which is plaguing our society.

  • @tzipi124 sorry but as long as jamaica is their i don't see usa dominating track events any time soon

  • @tzipi124 Tut tut tut, always thinking about yourselves, typical ;)

  • Commentator: "....Campbell-Brown 29 years old now, and she's gonna have the lead from Jeter into the straight...and Campbell-Brown, is she away? but here comes Jeter, and Jeter is coming right back. And also there is Felix...BUT NO! ITS GONNA BE CAMPBELL-BROWN!!!!! CAMPBELL-BROWN WINS IT....!!!!!"

isnt that the best commentary ever...big up Jamaica all the time....VCB u a di bes!!!

  • @ven4u2nv dude your gah dam comment really was funny and exciting but kind of pissed me off bcuz i read before i watched the race lmao
