I would have to disagree that Asiatic lions are somehow weaker than African lions. Asiatic lions who live in Gir forest in India are the top ranking cat. They have completely killed or chased off the Bengal Tigers from Gir forest

Another thing is that, the only reason Lions get beaten by tigers is because they are not wild lions, they don't have their killer instinct which the tigers still retain even in captivity. But if a wild lion were to face a tiger, the tiger would have no chance.

@larcm3 The African lion can reach 700lb in South Africa( Local recordings) , it's much larger than the Asiatic cousin( but the average is not that big in difference), but u get some lions that just reach amazing sizes, the african lion is the tallest big cat where the tiger the heaviest and with more body fat.

This is not just it. The biggest reason why the tigers in Everland aren't totally raped by the lions is because those are all animals born and raised in captivity.

A SAVAGE lion spends its first 4 years learning HOW TO FIGHT, that makes it the ultimate WARRIOR and the cats king. And no tiger would stand a chance against such animal that lived its ENTIRE life JUST fearlessly fighting.

But of course if you put on 2 animals with the same fighting experience (captivity), stronger wins - Everland.

I am a lion fan, but your comparision thing wasn't clear. Some lions in everland have thick main, that of the african lion. African lions dont all have dark manes they can have light ones too. Their mane is much thicker though. Asiatic males usually look like african adolecent manes. Just a mohawk with some hair on the sides

@Schamah good point here, i am not a tiger or a lion fan, but we need to be more realistic. most tiger fans argue that tigers are stronger pound for pound which is completely ridiculous, even at similar size their fangs are of equal length. But if we consider the actual weight of tiger, which is about 250kg for Siberian or Caspian, tiger have clearly over 70 kg weight advantage ( and its a proven fact, I think lions wouldn't stand a chance, and that's what happened during roman era).

Siberian tigers weigh more close to 400 pounds than to 500 lbs. Recent studies have shown that bengal tigers are larger than siberian tigers on average.

Caspian Tigers are extinct , just like barbaray lion ( only a few in captivity ).

And lions dominated tigers during the roman times and thats a fact.

lions in everland are clearly asiatic, african lions usually have bigger manes, bigger size more aggressive. african lions have bigger manes with darker manes. that's why african lions are more aggressive becuz african lions have darker manes the darkness of the mane indicates agressiveness and higher testostorone level, hence the darker the mane the more agressive the lion is. if the koreans put african lions in everland all the tigers would be killed and completely get dominated.

That Hobbie was a male first of all if you look at some of the old footage you'll see the female flurting with him when there in season also you'll notice in one of the video's Hobbie let's lion know female's already been taken or something like that. ...yes, there is a way to determine this, though i believe the strength between these animals is equal. if you compare the strength of many different lions and tigers, such as with pulling, or some other form of strength, then you would get a clear indication, if any, on which is stronger and so forth.
