The ariel atom was designed with weight savings in mind, so the engine performs well, but no honda will ever come close to the figures it has because of all the fat they have.

@eli551000 M3 took on RS5 ... and won ... any other questions? New M5 take on and beat RS6, now R8 ... different story ... BMW do not have a car in this class atm ... might be what the M10 is for (but that's just speculation).
Yes, all German cars have had some major issues last few years ... but you cannot randomly pick stats ...
M3 is actually the best amongst the German cars in it's segment, while the 3.0L TT BMW had some issues (mainly the fuel pump).
All Audi's were below average ...

So BMW < Audi when it comes to reliability, but given all 3 score so low, not something either brand should 'brag' about (however my theory is that when people pay a lot for a car, they are also more likely to complain about any single detail, vs a $15k car). It's fine to wish stuff, but you would be normally wrong, and such statements are easy to prove to be false, or faulty at best.

Für mich ist einfach nur Fakt, dass das ein absolut beschissener Motor ist. Allein schon was die "unaufgeladene" Literleistung betrifft. Dazu kommt dass bei " logischeren" Umbauaktionen wie z.Bsp. eine 3.5er, das gewicht auch eine Rolle spielt. Kopflastig ohne Ende. Hier hat man beides vereint XD Power is nothing without control!
