The problem is that ESPN doesn't have the intelligence to hire reporters who have an OVERALL grasp of the sports world. So, on the rare occasion that a soccer player gets interviewed, or a topic about soccer comes up on shows like PTI or Around the horn, very rarely do you get an intelligent/relevant answer/question.

On a sidenote, Mastroeni looks very uncomfortable in this interview.
