  • An amazing song from a leading Pastor, Theologian, and an amazing writer and reader of Reformed Theology as well.

  • I was born and raised an orphan in a land that once was free. In a land that poured it's love out on the moon. And I grew up in the shadows of your silos filled with grain, but you never helped me fill my empty spoon.

You kill the black man at midnight just for talking to your daughter and you make his wife your mistress and you leave her without water and the sheet you wear upon your face is the sheet your children sleep on. You say a prayer at every meal, you don't believe.

  • can you post a lyric of this song pls? anyone know the lyrics of this song? thanks. more power.

  • Larry Norman and Steve Camp are true pioneers - I've just attached my humble version of this timeless song up in the video response section.

    I hope you enjoy it.

    God bless you,

  • Thanks for posting this awesome Steve Camp cover of Larry Norman's classic song.

  • I'm weeping at this video because I'm guilty of not following the Son lately.I need to repent of it and start again. Thanks for the posting.

  • Awesome Steve, could you and others bring a tribute CD and video to the world? I had a dream, a huge concert with all the top musicians God placed in this world, bring a world wide celibration of Larry's going home, for all mankind, to remember the lonely fisherman who never gave up and he is home at Last.

How many people do you think would show up?

  • Thank you for the post. I had forgotten that Steve Camp covered this song. One of my favorites of Larry Norman. When you have a minute please checkout my tribute to Larry. Thanks again.
