Bill Clinton doesn't know what he is talking about. Uhm... 1. Embryos are fertilized!!! 2. Adult stem cell research has been shown to be far more effective than embryonic stem cell research. 3. It is not a "pro-life decision" to use embryos for anything else but birth and allowing it to live a life.

This is a plot to convince people that it is okay to kill embryos. Many uninformed people will view this and believe, because it is Bill and a "doctor", it must be true. It is just another way to try brainwash people into thinking it is okay to use these embryos for testing. About 30 seconds in, President Clinton says (roughly): "As long as these embryos are not in a process by which they will be fertilized and become little babies." He makes the same mistake a few times along, such as 2 min as well.

Why doesn't Dr. Gupta ask a clarifying question there?

No advancement has come from the research using embryotic stem cells that was equally effective from adult stem cells. Plus, former President Clinton must be a moron as well... embryos don't have to be fertilized. And embryo is the developing human that results after the egg has been fertilized.
