We're allowing criminals from other countries to come here. Our gov't is too concerned with political correctness to do anything about illegal immigrants and convicted criminals.
We should be at least properly investigating immigrant applications. To ensure Canada is not importing any more criminals. But it seems we are too concerned with being PC and not appearing racist.
CBSA a JOKE - that's because it is more focused on "Customer Service" than security. The CBSA claims to adhere to "National Policy" but "Port Policy" is followed. The only time a criminal is stopped from entering the country is if they are "flagged" on the computer system. A BSO can NOT ask if they are a convicted criminal, a person is only referred if the BSO suspects criminality based on a very limited amount of behaviours, depending on how experienced a criminal is these can be extinguished.
people who are not canadian citizens or perm residents have no rights in canada and can be asked flat out if they have been arrested, convicted, been before a judge or magistrate for anything including traffic violations.
