  • Is it the stock EDF and motor?

  • @2000S10V6

The fan and motor are stock, but the ESC, servos, and RX are all aftermarket. The 60 amp ESC weighs 50 grams and is inside the intake duct two inches forward of the EDF unit secured nice and tight.

  • @akngac5 I just got my Eurofighter and I was trying to figure out if the stock setup could handle 4s. Mine has a 50a ESC and a 64mm EDF with a D2830B-4800 motor(I think the 4800 is the KV) I may swap it out for a 70mm EDF and a 3000kv motor which I have and I know it can take a 4s. I would just need to do some trimming.

The motor that came with my Eurofighter is a 4000Kv out runner with the stock 64MM fan. With a 50 amp ESC, you shouldn't have any issues, but definately do some research on the ESC you are using, just to be on the safe side. The ESC I m using from E-Max stated it was designed to handle 3 cell to 6 cell LiPO batteries. I think going with the 70MM setup will be a better choice, the plane is too large for a 64MM EDF in my opinion.

  • @akngac5 Thanks for the replies. I think I will just do a little trimming and fit the 70mm fan in my Eurofighter. I have a brand new Detrum 60a esc that I will also be using. I agree with you the 64mm stock EDF looks small for this plane.

Your welcome, and enjoy your new plane, it is my favorite plane.
