  • 12GB >_> what a waste.... Awesome build.. congrats.. besides the nvidia :P

  • @madzane94 Thanx man, looking back 12Gb was/is a bit stupid. I paid £190 for that RAM kit. 6months later, the same store is now selling the exact same RAM kit for £320! WTF!?

  • @morbidal whoa 190? for real! awesome.. not a waste then not a waste at all LOL... if u got that big of a deal back then then congrats even more! i wish i could get 12GB for 190 pounds O_0

  • Where did you get your evga gpu from?

  • Hi...

Did you replace the top 230mm fan with 2 120mm

    fan?

I just want to know because I got my HAF just now...

  • i put 3 120mm fans along the top in place of the 230mm, but 2 120mm will be fine.

  • @morbidal

    Owh thanks for reply...

Actually I getting a same spec as you but just a basic spec...

    -Xeon W3520

    -DFI X58 DK

    -3GB Corsair 1333mhz

    -HD4870

    -HAF 932

So the 3 120mm fan you put is from cooler master brand?

  • yeah they are coolermaster fans, but any 120mm fans will be fine. when i bought the fans the only red 120mm they had where coolermasters

I'll PM you if I got something to ask...

  • Under 1000 USD? If so that is really impressive. I built mine for 750ish and it's not half the PC your running.

  • £1000. I am from the UK, if the accent didnt give it away lol, so that's about $1600 US.

  • what is that 1-2 grand worth of stuff? lol coulda done better.

  • just under a grand there actually. so what should i have gone for then?

  • don't worry about these faggots mate, you've got the pc now

  • shit ,40c outside of the case ? , i could cook you a good dinner on that ,, try over applying the paste ,that helped me alot , 10c difference

  • thanx dude, yeah i got it sorted once it went in. That was really just to make sure everything worked.Looking back 40c under no load was a bit high. I get around 42c on realtemp under normal usage (and its now OC to 4Ghz). thanx again

  • what case do you have?

  • HAF 932

  • what is i7 overclocking?

  • i7 is the name given to series model of Intels processors (there is an i5 series as well). overclocking is when you increase the power of the processor, but there are limits to how far you can push it depending on your cooling system

  • no no you didn't understand but thanks for the info. i meaned your i7 what did you overclock to?

  • oh sorry, no probs. its currently running stock at 2.67Ghz at the moment (no OS yet, waiting for windows 7). I reckons i can take it to 3.5Ghz quite safely. check my other vid of it all hooked up and put 2gether

  • when i get i7 and the same cooler with high air flow and 100 fan speed can overclock the i7 to 4.2ghz.

  • nice build doing one similar will also be my first time
