With so many other artists you believe that suddenly playing small venues and/or with completely unknown musicians must be a kind of a gimmick, but not with Bruce. Back when he himself was a nobody, he toured the same small bars and concert venues as Joe Grushecky and South Side Johnny and he's maintained a close connection to his roots which I think is very admirable. So many other rockstars would by now have forgotten where they came from.
