I've seen old/rare pics of michael that havent been doctored and show the splotches on his skin caused by VITILIGO! In an interview his makeup artist said they use to even out the splotches with darker makeup,but when the vitiligo became worse it was easier to blend it in with lighter makeup. As for the people saying the makeup would have came off from sweating...there's a such thing as WATERPROOF make up :) ..Its sad some of yall by in to a lousy article over the actual person!

Vitiligo scarred Michael inside and out.This is an uncontrollable skin desease.. blotches just appear everywhere in the body.Must have been hard to him to be white in skin and black in heart..because he conveyed a lot of soul music.People just did not understand his situation totally.But anyway, Michael Jackson did all right for himself as much as he could. he DID try to even it out with make up for a little while but it didn't work well, and his dermatologist recommended just slowly evening it out and making it lighter over time so he did it, his dermatologist backed it upand has pics. and records of it also there are pics from around the thriller era where his makeup is melted off and you can see the splotches

He actually did even out the white splotches caused by Vitiligo with dark makeup during Off The Wall and Thriller, but it got worse and worse. The autopsy showed he had Vitiligo, as well.
