What is up with the reapers faces? they have hoods on but are they creatures or men?? Is just that you cant see theyr face at all? and that one tall reaper you come across at one point of the game really makes me wonder?

Games involving choice really need to be less linear in their story lines.

Hey, a tip for those who wanna know: if you defeat a Reaper, and he's unconscious on the ground, kicking him will kill him. Yeah. So if you want a "good guy" rating, try to refrain, even though it IS fun. ^_^;;
Actually it will result in a "wounded kill" giving you a gray exp indication which means its neutral and wont effect your karma i have beaten the game and done this many times its fine
A couple for concerns that someone could please help alleviate: It looks like it takes a shitload of fighting to take down some normal thugs. Does it really take that much or is the player just overdoing it?
The travel from higher location to lower looks great but it looks insanely slow to get up buildings and really boring too.
Lastly, the combat sucks, c'mon a superhero has to run back b/c he cant get enemies into his sights? Is it just the player or is all fighting so distance minded?
When u first start off, you're not as powerful, so it takes a bit more to take down those thugs; they've got some dark powers, too, I think, judging by the ones who sometimes vomit black stuff. Later it gets easier.
It's slower to climb a building, but given he's using just his hands and feet, it's pretty fast, if u think about it. I think that l8r on u get powers that let u hover (maybe fly?), so that could make it faster.
Combat is more dangerous in melee, since there's a lot of them, and they have guns and u've got your fists & feet. Aiming's kinda hard, but if u punch when you're near an enemy, Cole usu. turns to hit him instead of hitting the air. Usu.
Gen. speaking, I'd say the game is designed for you to fight enemies from a distance. If you get in the thick of it, you're likely to be overwhelmed, esp. if you're in the wrong part of town. I tend more towards a sniper, so I like that, but to each his own.
IMO this game has an almost good balance it leans more toward the shooter side though but it is an important part of combat i personally find myself to be more stealthy suprising my enemies
The graphics are epic and the gameplay is realistic in its own way, found no bugs and played the demo through like 5 times! A must have for everyone.. even if you hate it :p

Prototype is WAY over-the-top. You don't necessarily "choose" anything during the game. Regardless of what you do, Alex will most likely get shot at by everything. In inFAMOUS, the cops can go to Cole for help, depending on his karma.
That's good to hear (about Prototype). I heard them say you had a choice, but in all the videos I've seen, it just looks like he's killing everything. Seeing him tear up the side of a building was pretty amazing, but I was looking forward to a real choice of actions (and their consequences), like in inFamous. So far, you can tell what people think of you by listening to their comments when you pass by. One lady even stopped by me (Cole), saying, "Hey, handsome" and giving him "the look." LOL!
well... in infamous it will effect your powers, in prototype it means who will win the war, so if you destroy an infected building it will slow them down and give the army an advance, destroying an militairy base will make the army weaker so the infected can beat them, it's your choice...

actually, It has no real effect on the game other than clearing that area of enemies for a short time, however it is only of use if you attack the human bases do consume them and learn certain powers free

the fact that you can do ANYTHING in prototype is why i think it will suck. actually this was in development before prototype and other than being sandbox they aren't that similar, inFamous you are a super hero/ anit-hero in prototype you are a shape shifter who can change his body into diff things/ people. Once people play both they'll realize they're not that similar. They are less similar than GTA4 and Saints Row 2. Just play both and see.
Im gettin both also, they're gonna be great, also Bionic Commando comes out in May and Red Faction comes out in June, it's going to be a busy couple of months

A lot of the same moves , same strategies etc. It's like playing star wars the force unleashed with only the lightning force power. This is one of the first chapters of the game, the reapers (As it's been said in interviews) is the first gang you'll fight as Cole, they run the Neon District, so yeah, if he hasn't heard of them before until this chapter I'd say it's pretty early.

the graphics in prototype is not great i just like the gore but this has more of a superhero touch than prototype, prototype is more about killing people and destruction rather than discovering why u have powers.

I think this game looks very similar to Prototype but i also think they both look realy good and i'll probably get both of them.

Lol agree. But I think inFamous is better cause you can actually go around without a WHOLE ARMY OF SOLDIERS and MONSTERS coming for you. In InFAMOUS, our only threat are the Reapers and maybe some other things.

the fact that you can do ANYTHING in prototype is why i think it will suck. GTA4 did everything in it's game really well, but when the character is basicly the increadibe hulk with more superpowers and is more invincible, i think that iw will be fun at first and then get realy boring fast. if a game poses NO CHALLENGE AT ALL then i dont think that it can really be called a game. he can transform, smash,fly,slice, impale,etc. if you've seen 'em once, you've seen em all. prototype looks bad to em.

actually this was in development before prototype and other than being sandbox they aren't that similar, inFamous you are a super hero/ anit-hero in prototype you are a shape shifter who can change his body into diff things/ people. Once people play both they'll realize they're not that similar. They are less similar than GTA4 and Saints Row 2. Just play both and see.

I'm not saying this game is really bad or anything but from what i've seen now it's really really simple. A lot of the same moves , same strategies etc. It's like playing star wars the force unleashed with only the lightning force power. If theres anyone here who thinks this game has more then tell me cause i sure as hell ain't buying this. PROTOTYPE on the other hand has lot's of moves , lot's of ways to interact with other npc's or the evironment etc.

I don't think this game is going to be so great after watching this as it seems that the protagonist has like what ? 5moves ? I really looks simple and boring , zero replay value. You can better go for Prototype which is at least unique.

Now, I love the Xbox 360, and I dont have a Playstation 3, and it would be great for me if this was on xbox, but its not. Another entertaining Youtube conversation, for sure. I have come to the conclusion that roughly 83% of Youtubers are retarded. Game console fanboys more so than any. I must admit, last year when my friend and I got our respective game systems I was dissing the PS3, but I was really just kidding around. The PS3 is great, the Xbox is great, this game is amazing, and I want it. Of course, one reason I support it is because its made my Sucker Punch, and I love the Sly games. Yup, fun stuff.

I rather have something old that works well then something new that doesn't. + the concept of Infamous isn't that original to so. This prolly is somewhere in the beginning. I've seen some new trailers, still doesn't show new gameplay. Only thing i see is other guys/girls, more of the world in this game but no new skills , no new tricks or anything so my opinion on this game isn't going to change i guess.

Hmmm to be honest. what you say IS TRUE. I mean look at star wars the force unleashed. Using the force to move things is the coolest thing in the whole game. But i really think that they can do a lot more in this game with that power. Cause from what i've seen now it's all the same.
On the other hand prototype offers a lot more variety so for now i will place my bet on Prototype.

This is one of the first chapters of the game, the reapers (As it's been said in interviews) is the first gang you'll fight as Cole, they run the Neon District, so yeah, if he hasn't heard of them before until this chapter I'd say it's pretty early.
