I hope Americans know that Canada is in North America. Anyway why would Americans want F1 back ? When they had it the stands were empty. They don't understand F1 like us Canadians (especially Montrealers) cuz all they care for is Nascar and anything else that go round in circles.
Me, too! F1 in the states would be very cool! The biggest problem is the venue...politically it was held at Indy, but that was a disaster. Look for USF1 to enter the 2010 F1 Bahrain race. hopefully that will fuel more interest in a circuit in America. Americans are interested, but F1 (Bernie) has to concur.
Canadian GP is on the calendar for 2010, why are people still yelling about it not being in North America? If you mean the US, which I assume you do, why don't you say it?
Also, no US venue meets the standards of F1 except for Indy, and now Tony George has left the chances of it going back there are low.
@Pintac87 Pretty sure F1 will be back in North America by 2012, it's one of FOTA's aims, plus better publicity in the US to improve the viewing figures.
@Slashbag69 Ya think? Give the man a cookie. I made the comment before they announced the return of the Canadian Grand Prix so at that time there was no F1 racing in North America - Canada included.
I'm wondering if he's getting any heat in those tires...

Bernie's on about getting a F1 race in New York! That would be amazing!!

The real reason why F1 didn't in the USA is because the last track was bad.

@patrick355 a half empty Indianapolis still has more spectators than most F1 tracks.

Very cool video though. I wish F1 would return the the states too, but I'm planning on attending the Montreal race too.
Tony George could mess up just about anything.
It's a good thing he's no longer president of IMS - he's screwed open wheel racing up for a long time.

PR FAIL! Seriously WTF telling people the event is reported instead of letting us know the new location for the shooting...
