I wasn't planning on getting this game, but after some charts, while still not up to RB standards, it looks like they've improved quite a bit and a lot of the songs look like a lot of fun to play. Add in the fact that I've needed a new guitar for ages now, and I may have to crack and get the guitar bundle.

@demonbomb102 Overture and Temples of Syrinx are the versions from All the World's a Stage (A live album by Rush). I don't know why they did that, maybe the masters for those parts were lost or not usable, or maybe they just did it for laughs. :S

@RushJunkie2112 It seems there was tape degradation on some of the masters. Overture is live instrumentation. The guitar is standalone of one instrument much as it was live, so some of the rhythm tracks are missing. The bass uses a bassball pedal? It sounds as tho there was some mixing of studio tracks with the vocal. The Temples of Syrinx sounds like it retained the instrumentation tracks of the studio takes but the vocal track is phrased much like his live vocals of the day.

@paologv701 Expert + plus now not only adds double-kick but also ghost notes. Ghost notes you hit lighter than normal notes, while armored notes you hit harder. These ghost notes look similar to the "slider" notes on guitar.

@someguy913 I must say, Neversoft really dropped the ball with those ghost notes in Expert+. Rock Band would have most if not all of those notes chartes in Expert. If this warrants Expert+, they should also have Expert+ for guitar and bass.

@Whizzer191 Terribly incorrect, the fact is, Rock band barely charts ghost notes. One example of this you should check out, is guns of summer, terrible undercharted on some roles, when youu can clearly hear a full roll.
