I just don't get this: he gets in front of him... WHY STEER RIGHT ? Why not just slam the brakes and get behind him as fast as possible. By the way: the red car is probably the worst car in the world ever. It's a Dacia 1310 and it's been around since the 60's. Yeah, idiots still drive those around here. The truck driver has all the fault in this accident. If you watch like you should, you would see that the red car started to take over before the continuous line, and the take over caught him on the continuous line. So in this case, the rules say that any car (small or big) has to let any car in the take over to pass by, and if is needed, to slow down and reduce the speed. The truck driver didn't follow this rules, so I put all the blame on him.
@vladuttzn dude learn ur facts... the red car was cutting him off.... and last time i head u need atleast 100 feet gap b4 switching in the line.... the trucker was on his own and the red car was a di@k who shouldnt have overtake him......its not that its big car or small car.. its all abt following the rules....
@runeDagger1 yes.. it's about the rules. But the rules I mentioned in my last comment, are the rules that everyone has to follow here in Romania. Maybe in other countries the rules are different, but because I'm Romanian I know this driving rules very well in my country.

@runeDagger1 let me explain to you. The red car wanted to get back on his part of the road because from the front was coming another truck. So according to the law, and common sense, the fault is on the truck driver. And this is why:
1 He wasn't careful enough (if you see he is crossing the white line all the time)
2 He should've watch in the mirror to see if there was anyone trying to overtake him
3 All the cars in front of him drove with a regular speed, and the trucker accelerates

@CristianPushtiu linia continua incepe exact in momentul cand dacia a intrat in fata tir-ului. Pana in acel loc, era linie discontinua! Daca soferul tir-ului ar fi franat din timp cand a vazut ca masinile din fata au redus, ar fi avut loc sa intre si soferul daciei, dar el a preferat sa nu-i lase spatiu deloc. Sau poate nu l-a vazut... ca are oglinzi doar ca sa isi faca freaza in ele.

my uncles drives a truck (full size) and he said unloaded they can shift, and when its just the cab and no trailer he says its as quick as his car which is a alfa romeo. not sure what engine is in the alfa though. that's what he said anyway, hes 50+ years old and has been trucking around 20 years.

Ala cu masina mica e de vina pentru cu nu a stiut sa aprecieze daca are timp sa depaseasca. Cand intri in depasire iei in considerare toate posibilitatile daca nu esti in stare stai dracului pe curu tau.
1.Soferul de tir NU ACCELEREAZA. (loganu din fata franeaza deoarece avusese intentia de a depasi iar apoi a renuntat)
2.Soferul de tir NU FRANEAZA !desi ar fi trebuit sa o faca! si deci NU PASTREAZA distanta!.
3.Soferul Daciei face o depasire perfect regulamentara - el nu este vinovat cu nimic ca soferul de tir nu pastreaza distanta si nu are unde sa se bage. De pe contrasens venea alt tir!

Didn't look like a slow moving truck to me. For that matter, it looks like the cars infront were slowing down. Gotta remember, fucksticks, cars can accelerate a lot faster than trucks. Either the fuck in the red should have waited instead of being aggresvie, or hammered on the gas and got infront quicker. Or better yet, NOT cut in the lane. Regardless if the semi blocked him, he was still the one who made contact.

Soferul tirului nu avea absolut nici o vina,cei din fata au franat de'aia vi se pare ca el accelera dar defapt se apropia de aia din fata,nua re cum un tir sa accelerez asa .

am stat si analizat videoul cei 2 soferi aveau ceva de impartit din cate se vede pt ca cel cu tirul in timpul depasiri a cam tras stanga + ca a si cam accelerat ceea ce nu avea voie sa faca dar cel ce o musca e cel cu dacia din pacate
problema este in felul urmator tirurile majoritatea merg max 85-90 eventual daca ii scoti suguranta sa mergi mai mult ... dar cu cat 20 de km la ora si ala cu coaja de dacie daca stia ca nu e instare sa il depaseacsa dc sa bagat plus ca nici nu stie sa aprecieze distanta pt ca din fata nu venea nimeni asa ca pola lui voia sa faca pe barbarul si ia iesit super acu poti sa il futzi :))))

pretty fast.Trucks made after year 2000 have 400-500hp and that is my friend enough power for acceleration.You see them go slow because of speed limits.
@nugasescparola yeah right.. that overtake hasn't been done in a 2 seconds.. the red car is a 60bhp car, how fast do you think it did the overtake? the lorry driver probably had like 30 seconds to see the car as it crawled ahead from its tail.. and you can see clearly how the truck is speeding up, by comparing the gap to the next car in front of him. if i was the driver in red car i would bash that lorry driver's head open on the spot!

The truck driver has all the fault in this accident. If you watch like you should, you would see that the red car started to take over before the continuous line, and the take over caught him on the continuous line. So in this case, the rules say that any car (small or big) has to let any car in the take over to pass by, and if is needed, to slow down and reduce the speed. The truck driver didn't follow this rules, so I put all the blame on him.

@runeDagger1 let me explain to you. The red car wanted to get back on his part of the road because from the front was coming another truck. So according to the law, and common sense, the fault is on the truck driver. And this is why:
1 He wasn't careful enough (if you see he is crossing the white line all the time)
2 He should've watch in the mirror to see if there was anyone trying to overtake him
3 All the cars in front of him drove with a regular speed, and the trucker accelerates

@CristianPushtiu linia continua incepe exact in momentul cand dacia a intrat in fata tir-ului. Pana in acel loc, era linie discontinua! Daca soferul tir-ului ar fi franat din timp cand a vazut ca masinile din fata au redus, ar fi avut loc sa intre si soferul daciei, dar el a preferat sa nu-i lase spatiu deloc. Sau poate nu l-a vazut... ca are oglinzi doar ca sa isi faca freaza in ele.

my uncles drives a truck (full size) and he said unloaded they can shift, and when its just the cab and no trailer he says its as quick as his car which is a alfa romeo. not sure what engine is in the alfa though. that's what he said anyway, hes 50+ years old and has been trucking around 20 years.
i dont know what to make of the video, seems like he closed the gap. for what reason i don't know. there are a few possibles.

@catagolf in filmuletele alea ale tale in care erai filmat cum conduci ai zis ca aveai limita de 80km pe ora si mergeai cu 90 km pe ora te consideri un sofer bun????asa stii tu sa conduci ???????? drumuri bune

@rogazoro uite asta poate e ultimul reply care til trimit. ai dreptate.... am depasit limita cu 10 km la ora dar te asigur ca nu sa intamplat nimic si eram si pe o strada mai putin frecventa. sunt sigur ca nici tu nu mergi totdeauna regulamentar mai ales in privinta vitezei. (in romania e inposibil) reluam: deci comentul meu de la bun inceput nu a fost nicidecum ca soferul daciei este nevinovat, ba din contra, dar ala cu camionul sau ce era ala ar fi putut foarte usor evita incidentul. drumuri.

@rogazoro degaba ziceti ca nu a accelerat dar uitete bine la axul drumului la minutul 00:19 si se vede clar ca a accelerato, indiferent ca aia din fata au incetinit. ami pare rau sa ma cert cu un necunoscut pe baza unui clip de pe youtube.(nu sunt genul) si uite totusi ca..... vin din cursa rupt si stau cu tine la contrazis:))))). nui nimic ramanem fiecare cu parerea lui si gata. poate ai sa zici din nou ca o dau la intors, dar e parerea ta. poate ne dau astia la tv cu cele mai multe comenturi:)

@catagolf eu am muncit si pe mercedes si pe man dar baza a fost raba ceea ce multi soferi cam rad pe baza asta , dar nu stiu ca rad de ei singuri pentru ce pe masini de generatie noua este usor sa conduci dar pe raba nu mai este acelasi lucru acolo se vede soferia cand trebuie sa conduci dupa ureche nu dupa senzori care iti schimba singuri vitezele si etc...... pacat ca nu sunt in ro sa ti trimit un video cu o proba de schimbat viteze pe ROMAN fara ambreiaj

2.Soferul de tir NU FRANEAZA !desi ar fi trebuit sa o faca! si deci NU PASTREAZA distanta!.
3.Soferul Daciei face o depasire perfect regulamentara - el nu este vinovat cu nimic ca soferul de tir nu pastreaza distanta si nu are unde sa se bage. De pe contrasens venea alt tir!

Didn't look like a slow moving truck to me. For that matter, it looks like the cars infront were slowing down. Gotta remember, fucksticks, cars can accelerate a lot faster than trucks. Either the fuck in the red should have waited instead of being aggresvie, or hammered on the gas and got infront quicker. Or better yet, NOT cut in the lane. Regardless if the semi blocked him, he was still the one who made contact.

Soferul tirului nu avea absolut nici o vina,cei din fata au franat de'aia vi se pare ca el accelera dar defapt se apropia de aia din fata,nua re cum un tir sa accelerez asa .
Si in stanga cabinei e unghi mort la camion ,si nu l'a vazut pe ala cu dacia unde e,si nu are obligatia sa se uite in oglinda mereu dupa sinucigasi .Asta o spune unul cu Cat b si atat.

am stat si analizat videoul cei 2 soferi aveau ceva de impartit din cate se vede pt ca cel cu tirul in timpul depasiri a cam tras stanga + ca a si cam accelerat ceea ce nu avea voie sa faca dar cel ce o musca e cel cu dacia din pacate

problema este in felul urmator tirurile majoritatea merg max 85-90 eventual daca ii scoti suguranta sa mergi mai mult ... dar cu cat 20 de km la ora si ala cu coaja de dacie daca stia ca nu e instare sa il depaseacsa dc sa bagat plus ca nici nu stie sa aprecieze distanta pt ca din fata nu venea nimeni asa ca pola lui voia sa faca pe barbarul si ia iesit super acu poti sa il futzi :))))

nothing about the trucks.If your trailer is empty or light loaded you can speed up
pretty fast.Trucks made after year 2000 have 400-500hp and that is my friend enough power for acceleration.You see them go slow because of speed limits.

@nugasescparola yeah right.. that overtake hasn't been done in a 2 seconds.. the red car is a 60bhp car, how fast do you think it did the overtake? the lorry driver probably had like 30 seconds to see the car as it crawled ahead from its tail.. and you can see clearly how the truck is speeding up, by comparing the gap to the next car in front of him. if i was the driver in red car i would bash that lorry driver's head open on the spot!

@cragster101 Actaully, see how long the truck kept moving afterwards? Simple physics... he didnt speed up.. he just COULD'NT stop. By the time the car was invew, he had ALREADY began to decrease speed , the truck in front and the car behind it slowing.. the red car tried to sneak, and underestimated inertia, never will again though
