When I visited the lemur center this past summer, I was totally impressed! I have a newfound appreciation for all of the workers who dedicate their lives to saving these species.
Also, could you guys maybe someday add a video of the slender lorises, aka the bananas on stilts, aka the creepy mini-gollums, haha! Annnd also the little mouse lemurs... aww, too cute...
Although he aye-aye is from Madagascar and the loris is from Africa, these two are best friends. They have even been seen curled up together in the same nest box. The company enriches life for both, and aye-aye are so smart, they need lots of enrichment!
Anyone wanting to learn more about the Slow Loris should watch "Jungle Gremlins of Java", a BBC Natural World production, 2012.

Slow loris! These guys are the jam! Too bad he was snuggled up in his nest box the last day I was over there.

We, at Duke Lemur Center, really appreciate your support. These highly endangered animals need all the help we can provide. So thank you!!!

No problem! I wish I was wealthy, I would love to underwrite many of the projects there.

Great video! Do the loris and the aye-aye get along? I noticed an aye-aye in the last shot.
