Ryu always kick ass, I was wondering why they never made a real life action movie about Ry and ken. Ryu and Ken are like the main characters, it would have been awesome. Hopefully they make one, they made one about Guile and recently about Chun Li.

i spent quite a long time hunting down copies of various sf games and own em all from sf2t on the snes to super puzzle fighter on the gba and sfex2.0 for the ps2 and marvle vs capcom 2 on dreamcast, and i can say beyond a shadow of a doubt this is an instan clasic. i preorderd 2 copies, one to play and one is goin on ebay. ive seen mvc2 go for around $700 on ebay

Actually this game is supposed to play more like the original streetfighter 2 then the "hyper mega combo" ones i think you're refering too. U can 100 new modes it won't effect how horrible the gameplay is. MK's controls are usually horribe ( I only liked MKII and MK3:Ultimate) SF will always have better control and combo's than the rest of the other FG's. Gameplay is all that counts and SF almost never fails (except SF: the Movie game lol)

Each character has both a super as well as a beefed up version of the super called an Ultra combo. Or so I've heard. For example, Ken's super is his Shoryu Reppa, while his ultra is the one where he goes all apeshit on his opponent and ends with a Shinryuken.

well, im a pc gamer, so im a costumed to you know, cranking up the visual settings on games, AA, AF, high res texture mods, tweak guides, etc. i've played crysis, bioshock, fear, cod4, oblivion, HL2 etc and let me tell you something:

SF4 graphics are awesome!

really its not about how many polygons you churn out or how lifelike images look, its about the design, fluid animations, transitions, gameplay, it all serves a purpose and this looks way better than 2008 DC vs MK universe

The game looks spectacular. The graphics are great, the art style just isn't to your liking. Find me another game with facial animations like that, with grimaces of pain, and the force of IMPACT on moves. Yes, it's cartoonish, and that's just fine. There's enough games out there trying to be more than what they are. We're happy with this being SF4.
