  • "200 feets" ....wow! I bet this guy won't be able to measure his own dick properly and he's fucking building a microwave gun. HAHA!

  • do it!

  • This does not work you need at least 2,000 volts and less than 1 amp to run the magnatron and all of that pandom shit he shoved on there would wourk better as a dildo than a microwave gun do not even waste your time or microwave for that matter on this!!!!!!!!

  • it sounds like big airsoft gun is it ?

  • 1 question how were you able to contain the radiation

  • fake

  • Now just deploy @ Mexicans coming North of the border!

  • @syderwarp and all the everyother fukin races in the world..stupid ass damn white people with all ur diseases...quit being racist

  • @nickhb90 Hmm not a racist thing said. It's the culture, and lifestyle that everyone hates. LOL

  • This is the same technic that currently (Also some time in 1999@Denver, 2001@Beijing, 2009@Phoenix to present) Attacked me, and was send by some dirty spy agency (The "spyvirus" that inside of the CIA, FBI, DHS, NSA, S.S. or DoD, DA, Police, and maybe even the PD???(Looks like now they all under one "very very bad networking", and turn its very own original function into a low IQ plus ungifted problem kid's personal's punnishment tool for how many years already and no one give a dime????

  • The battery is a great place for a non technical person to draw a conclusion. The device must have alternating energy source to provide various voltages for the electronics and the magnetron. That's what transformers do (don't assume an inverter is in that circuit)

Last, the battery might be capable of getting the job done assuming lots of added circuitry for stepping power supply, oscillator, and more, plus the science of the microwave was worked out, it would work long enough for a shorted ba

  • Good for cancer.

  • you can see the alka seltzer tablet at 1:03

  • Depending on the lenses, it could work. I don't think the glass lens would do much though. Microwave radiation is wider than the lens!

Anything made from a microwave oven would heat the inside of the target though, which could cause a lot more damage to a person than it actualy feels like.

It would need prolonged fire to do any of those effects though. And the range would probably be lousy.

  • I like it. Not really as a weapon, but as a laboratory tool. I'm sure that the

"should i microwave this" team would have ruined far less good microwaves

if they performed the experiment from a distance of a few feet. Though these

guys should at least make a shield to protect themselves from radiation or

    something.

  • Im sure that this is very illegal and could result in several SWAT teams raiding your house....OH WELL, FALLOUT REAL LIFE FTW

  • microwave radiation wont kill you but this guy is a DUMBASS. this could give you radiation burns and could lead to types of cancer

  • @consolehacker54 cooking your internal organs wont kill you rrriight dumbass

  • @SuperGozzy You are an idiot if you post without researching radio waves. Microwave ovens cook food because the food is in a metal box with the microwaves intensified over and over and over again as they bounce around inside the box. If you put a paper towel around your food, it will cook more slowly, so clothes offer a lot of protection, apart from the fact that youre not in a tiny metal box. And internal burns wont kill you from this, you would have to stand in front of this for a while.

  • FAKE

  • if this was real you wold be dead frome microwave radiation fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • so stupid and fake

  • 41 likes, 41 dislikes... Hmmm... i think ill unbalance the scale :3

  • okay, if anyone thinks this is real consider this. 1, nobody has a big smile on there face while the are bieng irradiaded with harmfull microwave energy. 2, a cordless drill battery does not have enough energy to supply 1500 watts to a microwave assymbly. using ohms law it needs 125 amps which is preposterous . 3, tinfoil and copper on the magnetron will form a faraday cage and completely stop all microwaves and instantly cause the magnetron to catastrophically fail from back EMF.

  • Tja? Dette må vi vel kunne klare å sjekke opp folkens? Det er da haugevis av gamle mikroer rundt omkring. De kan komme til nytte igjen!

  • Fake...?

  • Lol @ "opening a microwave can kill you". If the power is off, there's no chance of danger.

That said, this vid is total BS. When i get back to my scrapyard, i'm going to get about 40 magnetrons and make a parabolic microwave laser. FOR SCIENCE! AND GREAT JUSTICE!!!

  • @demiserofd Theres the CAPASITERS!

  • FAKE

  • Really shit stupid thing to do, just openning and fiddling inside a microwave can kill you.

  • @1BustedMyth if you're an idiot about it yes!

  • @KD0IDB , The video shows it being pointed at a cat and a person.

    Um....

I work with the real thing.

My statement was partly derived from the safety section in a microwave technician textbook.

The person has committed two serious offences by law

Cruelty to animals and endangering life.

If he was using a rifle, everybody would see the danger. becuase microwaves are not visible and the damage is long lasting and can be slow to show up, does not mean you treat it as a toy.

  • @1BustedMyth I neither said I agree nor disagree with his conduct. There's no need to warn me about what has happened here, I fully know the effects of such devices and consequences of being an "idiot" with such things. Youtube is a great place to see people doing dumb things and I think most of us are smart enough to figure this out ourselves.

  • @KD0IDB , Well if you have that knowledge then you should speak up, you are completely wrong in saying most are smart enough to no better, people who deal with the general public do not say things like that.

Get off the dam fence, have the guts to say would should be said, you honestly think some 10 yo kid on here has ANY reall appreciation of the dangers being presented here! I have seen experienced technicians get killed making mistakes openning a microwave oven.

  • @1BustedMyth Dude, seriously? do you really want to argue about it? You have grossly misunderstood my statement anyway. I'm done here.

  • real but probably not how he did it theres even a book on it. the common household microwave can kill you.

  • Hmmm Lens to cause a freq Octupling effect to the FAR Infrared area of the spectrum????

Thats a long shot for such a small device.

  • Comment removed

  • @Crozonexz no this will not give you cancer. This is just high frequency radio waves much like your phone, only much larger frequency

  • @joblessalex , Yes it will give you cancer or worse.

Its all about the rate and time of exposure.

This is EXTREMELY dangerous. "Just high frequency" is a really dumb thing to say!

A microwave will cook food using "just high frequency" guess what!, your made out of the same stuff!

When Pilots get exposed to leaking Radar systems (same as microwaves) they get extremely ill.

The wost part is that it can take a long time to show the damage. Internal organs can fail, anal bleeding, death.

  • dude

  • If this was real, then they wouldn't need this

    youtube.com/watch?v=KH_2lIQuJWU&feature=related

Also, wouldn't this like, give you cancer?

  • They say microwave frequency cuts right through the brain like butter; is that why so many people are having melt downs?

  • Fucking retarded, why did I just waste 2 minutes of my life?

  • @spiderpig85 lol, u wasted even more posting that comment :)

  • dont stand in front of that thing u idiot

  • non of the tin foil or telescope lens did antyhing excep block it. microwaves are focused by horn shaped antenas so your gun is not efficiant or is fake.

  • @iminyourbasement Very crude weapon. When dealing with wave fronts it is best to use geometric properties of conic shapes. Specifically an elliptical reflector should be used with the microwave generator lying at one of the foci. The remaining foci of the elliptical reflector would obviously be the place where the targe is to be. Once you do this, well then you have a very good mannery in which to focus the microwave energy. Of course one need to minimize the VSWR.

  • @jarjarstinks99 i already made a working microwave gun, and i know this is fake. i used a 4 foot long 1 foot wide welded microwave horn and i turned it on and it fryed my camera, it also caused my hand to become very warm when i passed it my the output so i figured it was bad and abandoned the project...

  • @iminyourbasement microwaves can be focused through glass, and reflect off of tinfoil. The emitter of the magnetron's being fitted in aluminum foil stops microwaves from flying around all over the place. And to those who are talking about how big microwaves are, do you people realize that these microwaves are coming from the tiny emitter less than a centimeter in diameter? The size of the wavelengths doesnt refer to sideways- the grids on your oven's window BREAK UP the waves, not stop them.

  • @SoCalSummerSquad nope sorry, microwaves pass right thru glass, microwaves do reflect off tin foil and most metals, he put an aluminum cap over the emitter and created a Faraday cage, all the microwaves would have been reflected back and caused the microwave to fail in seconds. and even if it was a hallow tube it still would have failed because the microwave wavelength is around 4 inches wide so you need a 4 inch plus wave guide. and the emitter is the size of magnetron.

  • @SoCalSummerSquad the mesh on the front of the door reflects the microwave radiation back inside causing a high microwave power density within the microwave. stop trying to prove this video right because its fake and an insult to people who have actually created microwave guns. i have created 3 guns so i can assure you i know what im talking about.

  • @iminyourbasement Well of course the video is fake, theyre hard as cold fish sticks to focus. I always thought the five other walls were enough for that, I mean, if the waves were COMPLETELY trapped in there, Id suppose it'd just break. And as for the reflection, thats more or less what I said below, directed more to everyone who might have been making the "if it cooks food it can cook you" statement.. I try to tell people that the only reason it cooks is because its in a metal box.

  • @iminyourbasement and Ive been studying EM for a while now before I commit to building a waveguide, Im getting mixed messages because everyone either wants to describe their interactions with objects as particles (equal and opposite angle reflection) or waves, either that or theyre just the kind of redneck electrician who throws out "30 deg cone lol". Im looking for a NON horn waveguide because I just cant see how orthogonal angles would be the best method of focusing a wave.

  • @iminyourbasement cook yourself with it!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iminyourbasement SOOO : a 3 meter/10 foot parabolic dish + a 1500watt magnetron and the rest of components from the same microwave oven would be enough for many "purposes" , right?

    :-)

  • @gabigowriel it would be like a cancer/warming ray with a large dish. lol

  • @iminyourbasement but would it shoot down those chemtrail airplanes?

    :-)))

  • Yeah power a microwave magnetron with a battery...

  • very good

  • if that's the homemade version, I wonder how far professionally made ones can reach??

  • 100% Fake --

The liquid is dark so you can't see a substance producing gas. (Heartburn, anyone?)

The cup is there so you can't see the obvious fact something has been set on fire.

And really, how great was the acting at the end?

Remember: Text explaining how things work doesn't mean that's how it works. If you know anything about microwaves, you know the exponential loss of energy over distance makes the last part impossible, using such a small device. Which is why they mount them on hummers.

  • Is this the same as a heat gun?

  • They say microwave frequency cuts right through the brain like butter; is that why so many people are having melt downs?

  • thats the most bs'ed shit right there, ha ha

  • this guys is crazy filming that close to the output...your asking for long term health problems buddy...not worth it.

  • Real !!!!

  • i want one!

  • funny shit matey....lost the plot completely when i saw the lense peice from telescope being attached...gr8

  • I wish, be shooting flying piggies at nite! if it work! lol!

  • @ moviesunrated: I would be surprised if he got cancer. Who knows, it might be the next radiotherapy device :D

Fake? Dunno. Even if the magnatron is underpowered, can it put out a fraction of it's capacity at a fraction of the 'required' current? Maybe he pulled the parts from an automotive (12V) microwave oven.

As my hero Adam Savage (Myth Busters) might say, I think it is very plausible.

If the beam had a focus of 6"@200', how many watts would it take to boil a brain? :D:D:D

  • @crazydriver1978 A Mobile/Cell phone can cook your brain, it has the same waves as a Microwave oven, but a Microwave ovens Magnetron has much more waves coming out, so it's gonna be much worse than just having a phone next to you. Speed Cameras use Microwaves. Microwaves will cause cancer if you get exposed to it too much. So, Phones can cause cancer, but because they use less Microwaves than a Microwave Oven, it's going to take a while.

None of this is making much sense, I cant explain it well

  • A vehicle microwave system will still run at the same voltage as a house one.

Your house microwave doesnt run on regular house voltage anyway either. Magnetrons run at up to 2000V and more using a step up transformer. It does not matter what kind of microwave it is.

  • Could be fake, if he is really using it on a cat and human thats really bad.

I wouldnt be surprised if he got cancer.

  • I don't think he could get cancer, as the Microwave-Waves are "only" the same waves as Radar-Waves ...

But if the Person he's pointing at is wearing anything made of metal (and is near enough to the "gun") this metal things will beginn to get very, very hot.

And well - if he is shot at over a long period of time he also could get cancer ...

  • @jerome96114 Why did you put Speech marks on only?

They are the same as Radar waves, only much more, if you stood next to a Radar, and you had a chocolate bar in your pocket it would melt, but Microwaves from a Microwave oven have more of something, forgot what you call it, but they're much worse than Radar waves.

  • they have more power!; 1000 watt microwave is going to cook your brain

  • Yeah, I think someone would be getting the darwin award for experimenting with a homemade microwave cannon.

  • This is a fake. The magnetron requires some 1000W at 4000V. even if he were able to put a transformer in there, the cordless drill battery could not provide 1000W. This is a waste of time.

  • Yeah, power a 700W 4000VDC magnetron tube from a cordless drill battery -that's going to happen...

  • i suppose with an extremely high end battery it could happen, but even 24v drill batteries average around 300 watts so most likely not.

  • transformer =D

  • hahaha

  • if this shit is real this guy better not make kids (if he's not already shootin with duds lol)

  • Is there a way to focus all the microwave to a very small beam just like the laser? Using a strong laser and a microwave combine on a small pencil-like beam or even smaller, is sure a good weapon. A size like that of a 45 magnum pistol. Using a powerfull capacitor for storing a sudden blast of power and a battery for energy source. How about a design like that? A good use for cop or military. A pistol can be constantly charge on car or at home or on job site.

  • hmmm try a magnifying glass......

    may work

  • Ne vide se detalji konstrukcije... Šteta. Rado bi eksperimentisao...

  • Microwave lasers are very possible and easy to make but these kids are faking. If they were intelligent enough to make one they wouldnt shoot it at each other unless they want to eat a bunch of radiation. Nice try retards

  • I think a microwave laser is called a MASER, just saying. Look it up on wikipedia.

  • poor cat

  • Fake indeed

  • Fake.

  • If you made pain for the cat, you are a fckin asshole ;)

  • watching this video its clearly a joke or something dont take it seriously a magnetron out of a microwave runs off of a ~1kw 2000vac transformer not a power tool battery

the military is developing a weapon much like this but it operates at a much higher frequency (~250ghz rather then 2.4) so it only goes skin deep

you could really take the parts out of a microwave and power them and it would boil water and spark on metals but you would get the health affects of standing in a microwave oven

  • I agree 100%; never from a dc battery of that size. It would take more current than that to step up a voltage to that level.

Also, that aluminum foil over the antenna would block the RF from the cathode of the magtube.

The Cap and diode are also crucial to the operation of a microwave.

  • I believe the "heat-ray-gun" emitts @95ghz

  • COuld you point to a video or web page that will show us the wiring? We cant figure out why our magnetron aren't working.

  • ok so u get it to work on 12V(or what ever that batt. was) HOW???

i make better crap.. in the mornig on the toilet!

  • yeah cancer!!!

  • microwave radiation is non ionizing, it wun damage your DNA... that much anyway...

i still wouldn't mess with it thou...

  • just because its not ionizing doesnt mean that mutations cant occure.... if they amped up the voltage and wattage (which the must have to actually allow it to flow through air at a distance) the wave very well may damage the cells themselve rather than DNA in blood (cell DNA is alot more sensitive then blood DNA because of the lack of surrounding plasma)

  • you recieve more damage from the sun every day.

  • Not true.

Microwave radiation has been proven to cause cancer. Decades ago, when microwave transmitters were somthing new, construction workers would stand in front of microwave dishes to "warm up". Many of them later died from cancer. If you don't believe me, you can search the internet for the story yourself.

  • I think you are confusing reality with urban legend. Where is your evidence?

  • yo i can believe it... i just think its kinda u kno stupid to do tht even tho its a kjool idea...

the cat was most likely fake th... cats run fast but they cant fly

  • i think this is bullshit but mabye not

  • NICE! Sell it to me. I've always wanted one. I'll give you my address so you can ship this to me.

  • Fake

  • its a fake

  • for my plans i need 60 trillion gigawatt's

  • There is a booklet that was printed years ago. It teaches how to build this from a 5000 watt magnetron, obtained from an industrial type kitchen microwave.

Claims to set 1/2 inch plywood on fire from 100+ feet.

    The title is;

    The Poor Mans Ray Gun

    Have fun :)

  • lol thats sweet

  • Cools**t121314, as a general rule of thumb you can't yell at people if you weren't even bothered to check Wikipedia. It (and it's sources) say that microwaves can't cause any of the side effects you said since they have too little energy. They can still do a lot of damage through burns though.

  • So this gun can't cause cancer?

  • I think people think it can just because they hear radiation and think cancer. If that were true we would all die just about instantly since light is a kind of radiation.

  • So this gun CANT cause cancer? Microwaves strong enough cant, but IDK about the ones in a microwave oven.

  • Just skin burns and brain damage. Still serious if aimed wrong.

  • Oh.. I have one more question. I have an RC boat, and took apart the control and mess with it. When I turn it on and hold it next to my tv screen, my TV screen starts to fade out and show two or three imgages and make like.. glowing squares and fuck it up basically. Is this just high frequency radio waves or microwaves?

  • its probably a magnet

  • No, completely different from what a magnet does. If it were a magnet, the colors would fuck up. This makes the colors... the same... but dims the light.

  • ohh i see

hmm... i may have to try this >:)

  • similar concept to what a magnet does, just a diff type of EM interferance... just radio waves from a simple RC controller.

  • Yes, but I'm curious if it's high frequency radio waves, or microwaves. Probably radio waves, but I'm just curious.

  • Well, what Frequency is it? if it is lower UHF band then it is considered "radio"-waves, if the frequency is higher than UHF then it is considered "micro"-waves.

  • excuse me not just higher than. IN the upper UHF range of frequencies..

  • skin burns, blindness, can cause damage to the lenses of your eyes that can lead to cataracts when you get older. I suppose if exposed to it several times in a row might make the guy sterile.. depends on the frequency of the microwaves though...

  • spoof! microwaves only travel about 4-5 feet, unless you have bigger magnetron and more energy. pretty cool tho.

  • hmmm, i must try these one lol

any hint on how to make one?

  • ... see the real magnetron experiments in my videos.

  • this is just a joke...

  • no animals were harmed in the making of this video

  • Poor guy, he might have no kids LOL

  • I'm not laughing. Serious harm can be done with EM waves at this frequency

  • I'm laughing anyways!

  • wouldn't you need to make a waveguide using about 1" x 3" x 12" rectangle lined with metal?

  • you will short out the magnetron if you make it burn foil!

  • its not fake, magnetrons work with DC but need a lot of current, and with a drill battery it will not make strong heat but only weak heat wave.

  • Sorry you're completely wrong mate.

The video clip is obviously quite fake.

A magnetron typically needs ~3000V (Usually half-rectified DC) to create output. A drill battery is no where near sufficient. Thereoretically you could run a small DC inverter from the battery but the output of the magnetron would be very low. Capicitive charge/discharge might be effective for very small pulses. I believe you need at least 40-80 watts for noticeable thermal output.

  • Myth, or more acurately 'total bullshit'

  • you have cancer,

    your cat has cancer,

    your friend has cancer.

  • Exept that microwaves don't give cancer..

  • It looks like your using a battery for a rechargeable drill. Microwaves draw over 1kw, how are you getting enough power out of such a small source?

  • He's charging a capacitor and releasing all the energy in one go. Like a camera flash.

  • Im creating a new gun called the fakeeliminatorFX once i turn in on it will kill YOU....dude this is so fake a mirco wave gun would boil you mate from the inside out n he would be very dead now...dont believe me..put you hand in a mirco wave , jam the safty swicth in the door so you can turn it on and cranck that baby up....Don't try this at home boys n girls.

  • Actually it would take quite a bit more than that, but it could definitely cause surface burns of your skin or severe damage to the eyes or fry the electronics on your neighbors satellite dish.

  • yah id like to do that tomy neighbors satelite dish. they turn the tv on so loud1

  • also microwaves dont bake things from the inside out...

  • If you applied as much time into commenting on my comment to the fact its obviously a fake.....I'd still not care either way...lol

    bored now!!!

  • so am i .. explains why im commenting on youtube.. its like adding a drop of water to the sea hoping to be found.

  • noted PikKirby!

  • Lolz...thats a great idea ^^

  • lol. allthough it was funny and clever, its not possiple to power a magnetron with 18V. its no wear near the recommended voltage 2100 volts!

  • Fabriques-en un VRAI au moins! avec le même matériel et en utilisant plus de matière grise ça marche!.. du moins avec les goelands!

  • microwave guns are in theory possible but the real problem is to concentrate the microwave-ray ;-(

but the video is a fake that is sure

  • Actually the beam that is produced is about the width of a pencil, the reason it cooks your food is that inside the microwave is a small spinning device that has oddly shaped blades. Looks like a deformed fan - the blades reflect the beam to different points inside the oven to distribute the beam more effectively, plus now they have a spinning table inside. The beam is actually very concentrated - the military has a similar weapon called active denial system for riot control purposes.

  • do you whrite "Don't try at home" For it dos'nt work? :P

  • at 1:41 and 1:50 sound like scooby doo have fun laugh.

  • Real shit, that video is fake but real to the 3rd power

  • thats a fake

  • its called a myth, is it true or is it false. let the real scientists test it

  • I know that the microwaves are suposed just to pass by the glass, so the lenses are just garbage

the cat part is funny and not real, but the essence of the machine is plausible as far as I know

That and the fact that usa is researching microwave weapons, make me wonder... true? fake?

  • right? I'd like to make one myself... it would kinda level the playing field when fuckin fascist cops wip it out on us!

This shit is equal to torture. In the hand of the SS we become slaved
