MN band is a fantastic band that works incredibly hard. Last time I checked, Penn State didn't pull off four great shows in four weeks. Or performed in a brand new facility for that matter.

That's a band? Usually Big Ten Bands are great, but not in this case! I've seen them in person, and they are still bragging on what JOHH PHILLP SOUZA said about them a 100 years ago! And they are still playing his music! Now that band may be great for hockey, but they are not that good for football. They need to step it up and come into the modern age like Penn State did.

@GOBLUEADAM you made this comment about ten months ago but i believe you are completely wrong. Marching bands in general playing alot of marching songs and and alot of those songs tend to be john phillip souza. the gophers as well play alot of modern music like michael jackson and lady gaga and there formations during the game are amazing! they are definately one of the top 3 marching bands in the big ten. not to mention there fan base is huge!

get some MORE BRASS!!! Let go of that huge woodwind section.. BECOME A BIG TEN BAND!!! Some of the complaints this year is that in certain parts of the stadium they want you miked! JAZZ IT UP!!!

They never should have torn down the first outdoor Gopher or Twins stadiums.
