would it be easy to, say, cut a V small piece of square metal, and how would i attach that to a shoe?

Don't they make a Dewalt Chop-Saw with a Variac built in to slow down the speed so it does the same thing?

I'm not sure if they do or not. If Dewalt did, I'm sure it would be a great saw. They would need to also have specially designed blades for the saw too.

Seems to be a great saw. Just thought the guy at the end of he ad seen cutting a section of the end of a huge pipe ,should have had someone to hold the pipe or clamped it in some way to stop it falling on to the floor. A bit un professional.

These saws are incredible, you can also buy a special metal cutting blade at Lowe's and put it on a low rpm skill saw, its the blade and the low speed that make it awesome...
