Just 1 expample, why is wow better. You have got to have so much better skill to rock in wow PvP. I got more than 25 spells bound to keys. Here I see like 10. And I dont talk about movement. You dont rly have to show much effort to kill a guy in AoC.

Sorry to clog up space but just so AoC doesn't feel like its bad its not the fatality's were some of the best and WoW does have its OP class moments now and then. Cata gear is OP in pe 80 bg's. Healz for dps and tank class's could use some nerf. some specs get nuked, but there was one thing that made me get rid of AoC and keep WoW....AoC lv 80 "Epics finally! :D" Vendor selling them 1000 marks you get 1 per boss same dungeon once a day so with 8-12 dungeons epics were hard unless you pvp camp
Ok i have played both WoW and AoC...heres a good honest review. AoC is a game with better graphics and all but it still is somewhat linear. On top of that their new expansion sorto messed up. "Lets screw the lv80-85 lving but keep the creatures" correct me if im wrong but i got the expansion and 80 was top lv but lv 84 creatures in the zone next door. Also pvp was 3-4 class based or heavy geared. WoW i admit has its faults but one thing it has down is less OP class BS and ton of fun events.
I've been playing WoW for about 4 years and now I quit it because of this MMO. Tired of that comic animation and graphics. Also I love AoC pvp its so much better than in WoW. So once more fuck WoW, AoC wins.

I think the modern day image of orcs was highly influenced by him, but not purely created by him. Not to get any hate responses but I havn't played either AoC or WoW and if i watch a couple of AoC and WoW gameplay vids, it seems that I'd be willing to play WoW instead of Aoc. But this is just from what i see, it might be more fun to play this then WoW but this is just what it seems to me.

Played it in beta, and it was terrible, took forever to kill mobs and the map made NO sense at all. The animations were also terrible, everything and everyone looked like they were key framed by a 2 year old.
aoc is death now since patch 1.05 this game turned into pure bug lag PvE party with no class balance@all pvp in this game is f... up and Failcom dont even got the cash for a anti cheat programm many many cheats outa there 8)

dude are you serious? WoW has done SOOOOO many things absolutely perfectly, which is why its such a successful game. One of my favourite unique aspects of the game is how they seemlessly string together all of the quests, they incorporate class specific quests throughout the whole game, giving you a constant sense of direction. So many other MMORPGs lack this important quality, including AOC to a degree. AOC is very good in many ways - but no game covers all the bases as brilliantly as WoW
AoC is fun, only reason people don't play it because it requires a high end computer. Alot of the WoW players have shitty computers, which means more bandwidth and less lag. That's the only reason WoW will ever be popular, because it has shitty graphics, doesn't mean it's not fun though. I prefer AoC for it's gore. =)
I have to agree with kram337, the casting time on buffs is actually cool, the animation is cool and casting the spells is kind of cool experience and showing that u are doing something.
Like assassin when u go shadow stance, he sharps his knives and alot of shadow comes up from the ground and surrounds the Assassin for a sec, 1 word: awsome. ^^

first of all necros are too OP atm. secondly your kitting abilities are inormous. u have the same stamina drain as barbarians for examples. this had to be fixed.
I like this game more than wow. Even though its full of bugs, graphigs aer not so good and now after merge the lag is unbeliviable. And pvp should be fixed somehow, cause now you can only call it ganking (atleast when you are below 80lvl and try to level your character). But these things all can be fixed and allover the game is more interesting than wow. Much to fix but when all is done bu funcom, i believe that this game own and put blizzard to deep sleep lol :D
I play aoc, have a 80 necro with full epic, but man this aint pvp. This is called ganking ppl with slow fingers. Many of those u attacked didnt strike back, and some even attacked ur pets.

i played AoC but the combat system sucks... the whole combat is just button bashing 5directions and then skills. its just to much hassle.

ok the game lost its fun after about 2 months from release. i made a 80 necro (when necros were awesome) then they nerfed them hard. also the pvp+raid players must take a ton of time to do anything. best to go pvp or raid only. need to buy or craft all new pvp gear. raid gear is from (ofc) raiding. i went back to wow and made a couple of 70s... cant wait for wotlk. also i havent played aoc since June

Necro is easily one of the best PvP classes next to Barb and Assasin mainly because when they hit first you are dead. I love the way every one tried to run and failed.

dude are you serious? WoW has done SOOOOO many things absolutely perfectly, which is why its such a successful game. One of my favourite unique aspects of the game is how they seemlessly string together all of the quests, they incorporate class specific quests throughout the whole game, giving you a constant sense of direction. So many other MMORPGs lack this important quality, including AOC to a degree. AOC is very good in many ways - but no game covers all the bases as brilliantly as WoW

AoC is fun, only reason people don't play it because it requires a high end computer. Alot of the WoW players have shitty computers, which means more bandwidth and less lag. That's the only reason WoW will ever be popular, because it has shitty graphics, doesn't mean it's not fun though. I prefer AoC for it's gore. =)

I have to agree with kram337, the casting time on buffs is actually cool, the animation is cool and casting the spells is kind of cool experience and showing that u are doing something.
Like assassin when u go shadow stance, he sharps his knives and alot of shadow comes up from the ground and surrounds the Assassin for a sec, 1 word: awsome. ^^

I like this game more than wow. Even though its full of bugs, graphigs aer not so good and now after merge the lag is unbeliviable. And pvp should be fixed somehow, cause now you can only call it ganking (atleast when you are below 80lvl and try to level your character). But these things all can be fixed and allover the game is more interesting than wow. Much to fix but when all is done bu funcom, i believe that this game own and put blizzard to deep sleep lol :D

I play aoc, have a 80 necro with full epic, but man this aint pvp. This is called ganking ppl with slow fingers. Many of those u attacked didnt strike back, and some even attacked ur pets.

i played AoC but the combat system sucks... the whole combat is just button bashing 5directions and then skills. its just to much hassle.
maybe if i spent time as a caster i might think differntly as u dont use that broken combat system. but they still havent added city pvp yet have they? like 6 months after launch and they STILL havent added the part that brought me to AoC in the first place... well done fagcom well done you could of dominated the MMO market but didnt want to!

ok the game lost its fun after about 2 months from release. i made a 80 necro (when necros were awesome) then they nerfed them hard. also the pvp+raid players must take a ton of time to do anything. best to go pvp or raid only. need to buy or craft all new pvp gear. raid gear is from (ofc) raiding. i went back to wow and made a couple of 70s... cant wait for wotlk. also i havent played aoc since June
