  • hi, ive comented on your everyday mineral video and as i said before i pretty much have the same complexion as you do so i have tried the everyday mineral concealer and it sucks. since im new at this does the concealer you use cover up the acne scars well? like to the point you can see them at all? o and does it make u break out (very sensative skin)

  • im missing ur video :( i love ur videos ur really preety

  • you're really pretty!

    even without makeup! =D

  • U rock because I have darkenss around my mouth. I am also indian, u r sooooooo right!

  • i think if you cover up your blemishes it makes the worse! :(

  • do another video of this as the quliaty is verry bad thanks

  • you look great,,,,,,,,,,,

  • this video was very helpful for me..i've been looking for a soft concealer brush to apply studio finish concealer..can't wait to go get this! Thanks!

  • I have little lines under my eyes too, and my concealer always gets stuck in them :| What kind of lotion do you use under your eyes before you put the concealer on?

  • I use Olay Complete face lotion for sensitive skin for my entire face (including eyes)

  • u look like kim kardashian

  • i've heard that you should use a concealer in NW because its supposed to be better for NC's skin tone. do you know which one works better for NC's?

  • I have heard that theory too. And personally, I've never tried it out. But actually, the next time I go to MAC to get an undereye concealer, I'm going to ask the MA to try a NW shade on me and see how i like it. And I'll let you know if the NW concealer works.

  • i actually asked a MA at MAC and she said if your trying to conceal brown or blue undereye circles then NW shades are what you should get. i'm a nc40 and she suggested nw30 select coverup concealer because it won't go on the crevices of your undereye lines to make it obvious and will brighten it up. i have the nw30 in studio finish but will get the nw30 i n select cover up next time i go.

  • oh ok. thanks for letting me know. so i guess i'll prolly be getting the nw30 select cover up concealer the next time i go to MAC. anyways, once again, thanks for the advice. :)

  • Hi..I'm indian and My complexion is about the same as yours.. jsut wondering becasue I'm new at this.. what shades do you normally go for.. like conealer, powders?

  • in wat brand?? b/c each brand has it's own naming/numbering system! But usually, I look for foundations and powders that look more yellow. hope this helps. lemme know if u have any more questions.

  • hey

can u list all d mac eyeshadows in your palette by now..

    thnx :)

  • I wish I had your lips!! OMG you are soo pretty! You remind me of aishwaryaaya omg i dont know how to spell her name you know that bollywood model or actress she's soo beautiful! =O)

  • you are really really pretty.

  • I have the MAC studio finish concealer and MAC mineralize skin-finish natural and it sems to go horrible, it looks cakey or powdery even though i dont have much on, i don't use a MAC foundation though, just a regular l'oreal true match. could this be why or does anyone know why this could be?is it better to apply the skinfinish with a kabuki brush?

  • i use l'oreal true match foundation and set it with the mac mineralize skin finish natural. mine doesn't look cakey at all, it actually works well together. what brush are you using to apply the skin finish?

  • Hi. I had just came across your site tonight and I love it! I am not asian or middle eastern. I am portuguese and itallian. I have an olive tone skin base and it looks quite similar to yours. Even the MAC liquid foundation you demonstrated in your vid was the same one I used. I really dont care for foundation. I wanted to know how you do your makeup. Do you use the mac concealer first and then just the everyday powders? Could you tell me exactly the products you use in order for your face? Thnx

  • your video is blurry

  • Hi, your video is so helpful! Thanks!

  • love this video!

i suscribed. thank you so much.

one question.. does the studio finish concealer get cakeyy throughout the day or when you smile ? :)

  • NO it doesn't get cakey at all. However, as it is getting colder, I do find that it has a tendency to dry out my under eye area just a little bit. So right now, I use Almay liquid concealer for under eyes.

  • ur so pretty naturally i feel that some of that concealer usage is unneccesary

  • Hi

I am a pro artist and also asian and middle eastern. A good tip for concealing the dark areas is to use a peachy salmon colour first on the dark areas to eliminate the redness. Then you can go over it with a colour close to your skin tone.

If you apply as much concealer as you have BEFORE foundation (as you applied it in your foundation video) you will end up 'buffing' all your hard work away and end up with patchiness.

    xx

  • Thanks for the video, I know it must've been hard to be on camera without make up...

  • great vid very helpful =]

  • i love your lips

we punjabis all have great lips dont we?

  • hey, I've never ever bothered to actually join youtube until I read the comment below..

I'm Indian too, & I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your tutorials... especially this one: I bought mac SFF a few weeks ago & I've never broken out before, so I had no clue what to do! Thank you so much :)

You are so lovely & informative, don't let that dumb hideous comment bother you for even a second.

  • geez, calm down! like she gives a fuck about you anyway

  • Wow... your awsome..... love your tutorial...

  • hello for your dark spot used el doquin cream is veryyy goodddd for dark spot :)

  • You helped me sooo much with the concealing. I never used a brush before, I just used to use my finger. Now it looks soo much better!

  • Great video!!!

Thanks for provding such good video....i appreciate your sincere effort in helping people with the basic makeup.

As you mentioned below that you changed the makeup routine. Can you do a video on that.

  • great tutorial !

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing

  • What kind of foundation do you use and what shade? Do you know anything about the studio mist foundation from MAC?

  • I also have an exfoliating brush from the body shop and I use it one my face once a day

  • I wash my face everyday with this cleanser called SkinCeuticals Clarifying Cleanser. My dermatologist gave it to me and Ive loved it ever since. The only con is I have to order it on line and its kind of expensive. Its $28 for five oz. It has salicylic acid and mandelic acid in it

  • Great video!!! This is very helpful! And you are grogeous with and without makeup!! Thanks for all the great videos:)

  • A lot of people have flaws, including me and I think it's cool that you weren't embarrassed to show them. Your still gorgeous though! =)

  • yah, nothing to be embarrassed about...everyone has flaws and we can either waste our time hating them, or we can just embrace them. Thank you for watching!!

  • Is it just my computer?, but you are out of focus!

  • ooooppppss...i think it's my webcam...i totally didn't notice until like 3 people left comments saying that the video is blurry. Next time, I'll make sure to focus..hehe...thanks for letting me know though!!

  • HI...fantastis idea ..very very helpfull..thanks alot...Can't wait to see the other videos..luv ya

  • Thanx for the basics.

Could you do a tut for a mineral and liquid foundation application?

  • yes, I already have a video on mineral foundation...but i'm gonna do a new one cuz my routine has somewhat changed. And yes, I will do one on liquid foundation too.

  • Verrrrry helpful. Fantastic idea :). Thanks....

  • Your videos are always so helpful and thoughtful. Thanks!

  • thank you!!

  • wow u can really tell the difference with & without the concealer! great vid; ur so pretty; i love watching u ;)

  • well, i love that you love watching me. hehe..and yes, concealer is awesome..i don't how i would live without it. :)

  • I have some bad acne scars too and a lot of redmarks. They are starting to fade though

  • Do you use anything to help them fade or are they just fading naturally??? Mine usually fade naturally, but then I always get new scars...it's a vicious cycle. lol.

  • wow thanks for the this video! ;) I usually use liquid concealer (mac select cover up) and it doesnt help in concealing up my dark circles that much, Im guessing its either I got a wrong shade or I dont know how to.. But I reckon concealer of a creamy consistency should work better :b

anyways thanks for this vid! :D

  • yah, i don't think that liquid concealer is heavy enough to completely cover up dark circles. Did you get matched by a makeup artist at MAC??? Usually, the rule is to go 1 or 2 shades below your foundation shade. For example, my foundation is NC 40, so my concealer is in NC 35. The lighter concealer helps brighten up the eye.

  • once i went to mac counter and she used the same brush for concelaer on me result was gr8 back then i didnt know about makeup so much .Thansk for that tip and yes i am nc40 too and i use nc35 as concealer i was thinking going down one shade may be nc 30.

  • dont ever touch yr pimple it will make it worse.i know i do that too sometimes

  • lol. sometimes I forget. lol.

  • every one has flaws.nothign to worry :)

  • I know...thanks for watching and being supportive. :)

  • lol yes yes yess indns have the dark spots around the mouth!! lol.. i have it.. but its not crazy bad either..do you thread your eye brows?? nice shape =)

  • no, i don't thread my brows...i just pluck them and then shape them by trimming the unnecessary parts. Threading is painful...I had it done in India and I will never do that again. lol.

  • Great idea girl on the 'basics', looking forward to it!
