Always loved Hoffman's work...his use of color is almost always very appealing. Great Provincetown footage.

If I painted stuff like Hoffman I would buy a huge pot of white primer and wash it out

and start again.

I mean the guy is a fraud with no talent at all.

The only thing I don't like about Hoffmann was his obsession with abstracting the "real world." I think abstract art should be more immediate and less rooted in the concrete.
