@vaughnjaela Yes, (Siren's song) Sirens are supposedly mermaids gone bad. They 'sing' and the sound would cause a person to enter a trance and jump into the water with the Siren. The Siren would then drown said person and rinse and repeat, that is their life cycle.

@vaughnjaela yes a siren is the mytholigocial original tale of mermaids, they would sing and lour the ships onto the rocks and then feast on the flesh of the drowning sailors as the ship sank, they are said to have voices that are so beautiful and aluring that no human man could resist the sirens call, also rumored to be etreamily beautiful. thats why its called dont fall asleep at the helm. the helmsman is the guy that steers the ship, if he falls asleep/entranced they will wind up on the rocks
